It was a bit for syure but some great driving. Add 3 laps and we would have a hall of a finish with Simon, Scott, & Alex.

That would have been nice but Simon didn't put a foot wrong today.

Slept through most of the race. Total snoozer. I enjoyed watching Power have a bad day though.

I took a nap for a bit mid race.

first lap, last lap and Sato's impressive engine fire were the only highlights.

Ferrucci continues to amaze me. For a guy who came in with a bad reputation, he's driving quite clean and has had some competitive races.

I'm actually really fascinated by him. he can have dominant speed particularly in qualifying, and sometimes he falls apart like a Chinese motorcycle.

You might as well do the Watkins Glen IMSA race the week before Mosport while you are at it.

The highlight of yesterday's race was Wickens doing the parade lap in the NSX.

trust me I've thought about it :) 3 week racing road trip is a hard sell though for other members of the Incognito household.

Yeah, I think Power is one of these guys who is untouchable when the car is set up right. But,
he seems to be easily distracted if it's not and prone to mistakes.

I've always thought he was a bit of an odd-ball but can say that about a lot of drivers.

When is his contract up with Penske as the "Captain's" patience isn't long? It's amazing that only two months ago Pagenaud was mentioned
as possibly being replaced at Penske, so what a turn of events in the 75 days...Rossi is also on the radar so who knows what the roster will be in 2020?

The thing about Penske is, he is incredibly loyal to drivers whom have delivered Indy 500
    wins and series championships.

So, Penske elbowing Power out to make room for Rossi (or even Alonso) may be remote.
Rossi would be well advised to stay put with Andretti where he's the obvious #1 driver and
he's high on Honda's list too. Were Rossi to move over to Penske, his position in the team
    wouldn't be as strong.

Rossi should go to F1, perhaps Haas, but it won't happen because "he's not from here."

I get the allure of Formula 1, but Haas is never going to win races. He has the opportunity to win a championship where he sits now. I hope he stays in Indy.

He's already won Indy, arguably more important than the championship, and perhaps will win that this year. He's as talented and competitive as any one of a dozen drivers in F1, some of them who have been there for years. With the coming rule changes his car/circuit disadvantage will be minimized, so this would be the year to make a move, and before his age begins to limit him.

Hey if Vettel really is retiring/leaving Ferrari at the end of this year he should join them. :)

Let’s start a 3 car INDYCAR team, Rossi Alonso and Vettel.

    what could possibly go wrong?

I agree with this. He has a good thing going, a good team behind him and things are clicking. No guarantees that happens again at another team. Keep riding the wave.

Let’s just say Milka’s undergone much cosmetic restoration. She’s definitely not in the category of being a natural beauty.

    Not true.

Whilst the Indy 500 is the blue ribbon “Monaco” event of the championship, most of the other venues also hold strong interest for drivers. With the Indy 500’s 33 starting positions, of course there’s going to be part-time “Indy 500-only efforts to fill the field (i.e. one typically sees 20-24 starters in the other rounds of the championship).
