When I worked at Ateco Suzuki a million years ago,the compliance plate was hugely important to be immaculate in it's presentation......this one looks like a dog's thrown up on it hence my queery.

I used to work with Chris Spring at Imagineering a million years ago. He always claimed that this was the only black/black 328 delivered in Aus. He was in the Aus Olympic team as a hurdler but I don't think ever made the cut for the Olympic games.

The car is well known in NSW.

    Agreed. Terrible photos.

I thought Ferrari were supposed to be stopping flippers? These people really piss me off.

No. Because these limited edition cars cannot be bought by anyone who can afford them.
Dozens of buyers no doubt miss out so the lucky few can have them, and then all they do is flip them for a huge profit a couple of months later.
It’s like just handing someone a few hundred k for nothing.
Haven’t they been saying for ages that anyone who did this would be barred from future limited run models?
    Does that actually happen?

Speaking of which, saw a pista driving through Toorak today. Very very quiet car.

Not quite Steve. In order to have a Pista order accepted, you had to first take delivery of a 488, with substantial options included. There are now a lot of 488's available as a result. Perhaps the owner here is stuck with a sale-proof 488 and selling the Pista is the only way out.

However you acquired a car and whatever you paid for it, when it comes to sale time, you ask the market rate. That's called living in a free country.
