Hello everybody, It is my first post here, my name is Gaëtan, 31, living in Switzerland and I am excited to share with you guys my dream come true! Who never dreamt of owning a Ferrari? Well, to say the truth, my dream was to have an E9X M3. A dream that came true in 2012 when I was able to get one but inside of me since the 458 Italia was officially released, I was telling myself, one day I hope I can get one... And this day has finally arrived just before my 32th birthday! The cherry on the cake? It's the 9 times WRC Champion Sébastien Loeb's 458 Italia! It's a 2010 Rosso Corsa, with racing seats and carbon wheel. Never in my life I thought I would be able to own one of this car, I was already thrilled with the M3 but this... My girlfriend and I are so happy and it already feels like she is a part of the family! Hi Gaetan Very cool story, and stunning 458. Are you in VD? Check out the Swiss thread in the Euro section and say hi. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/the-swiss-thread.335681/page-80 Welcome to Fchat.
Thank you to both of you. It's always a pleasure to drive on these mountain roads in Switzerland, maybe we can do that tekaefixe.
Wow... Awesome to hear what a special Ferrari you were able to attain..... Enjoy in great health... Ray,
Thanks guys! It is indeed an incredible upgrade from the M3, I loved the sound of the V8 but this is a whole different league... A friend came to see the car with his 3 years old son, he asked him if he knew what was the car, he replied “a Frari!” so cute! From child’s dream to reality Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love each and every 458, especially with such a nice story to go with it. Many congratulations and enjoy in good health! Kind regards, Nuno.
My 2 year old calls them out but only mid engine ones. He loves the shields. Doesnt believe that an F12 is a ferrari though. He can apparently also call out porsche now too. Making papa proud. I need to get this on video before he tells me he is too busy to spend time with me. Sent from my SM-N920V using FerrariChat.com mobile app ... a big congrats too. It's beautiful.
Congratulations! My daughter started around 18 months saying "Wawee", and now a few months later she can make the F sound. Every day I come home and she says "Dada! Fwawee! Vwoom!"
I'll never forget the day I took delivery of my first Ferrari. Congrats. Enjoy it on the beautiful roads I only get to see in pictures! Best
I lived in Switzerland for 2 years, beautiful country, what a great place to drive a ferrari, wow, congrats! enjoy!
Ferrari's are beautiful. Even my granddaughter loves mine. You have to drag her out crying Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you guys! Just had a road trip last week with a trackday at Spa Francorchamps as a birthday gift from my girlfriend, it was awesome! What an incredible car! I used to track my M3 on the Nürburgring but Spa was really the perfect place to drive the 458 for the first time on a race track. Drove about 1’800 km and I loved the 2 faces of the car, the civilized (almost normal) car and the race car. Everybody keeps asking me if it is not too rough to travel with it and I keep replying that it’s as confortable as my Peugeot 206 Here some pics on the way back, in Switzerland. Spa is spectacular - I'll be there mid-september and will try to improve on my 2'55" lap time if I'm lucky to have no rain...
Yes it is mine you saw on his videos, he is a good friend of mine I am enjoying it every seconds and as much as I can. This car is a blast! We really love it, my girlfriend told me yesterday “I want you to keep it forever”, how can I argue with that?
