you can do the Red Rock loop (get out and stretch you legs a couple of times) then go to Mt. Charleston and have OK lunch at the rustic spot (forget name) just below ski area and be back in 4 hours
When is the last time you did that Keith??? The Mount Charleston Lodge, as well as The Retreat on Charleston Peak, are on the Kyle Canyon side of Mount Charleston (State Route 157). The Lee Canyon Ski and Snowboard area is obviously located on the Lee Canyon side of the mountain (State Route 156). There is no way you can hit both Mount Charleston and make it through the Red Rock loop in four hours. There are days where you have to wait just to get into Red Rock.
Again perhaps I need to be corrected. Last visit to Mt. Charleston was last year; Red Rock Loop maybe two years ago and I had no wait at all at the entrance. Thanks, Keith
