Hi everyone. Took me a year or so longer than I thought, but have finally bought my first Ferrari. Extremely excited, it’s on the truck Monday! I’ve still not driven one. Oh Wow, what an awesome sight!!! Congrats, I'm green with envy!! We all know that feeling of anticipation, and sleepless excitement!!!
Hi, have had a few Porsche’s over the years and done lots of track days in them, plus ride in the fast group at motorcycle track days on my Panigale often so have some Motorsport background although never raced, just the track days. Realise a V12 on the street is another story so will be mindful of the power to the rear wheels! Track days stop me being silly on the road and get it out of my system. Hi Ben, I bought my 1st ferrari without driving it(also a v12) congratulations, amazing car, I'm sure.
Congrats top spec and very well looked after that car, the previous owner wouldn’t have redlined it yet so it’s still running in.
Congrats Ben it the best thing you will ever do with your clothes on.....Now you just have to put up with all the unemployed Whomos here......
I also hadn't driven a Ferrari until the day mine was delivered to me... part of me was terrified that the reality wouldn't live up to the dream but after about 5km I had a smile on my face that 17 years of ownership hasn't wiped off!
My stomach has butterflies just remembering how I felt when I got the call it was ready! Enjoy your day and hope all the Ferrari days to come will be fantastic. Remember, the best maintenance you can give these cars is to DRIVE them . 17 years with my 308 in a couple of weeks...
I still remember clearly the time I was handed the keys of a 246GT to drive to a PPI by the RACV in the city. That was my test drive /first drive, all at the age of 21 years and one week old. I was too young and stupid to be nervous. In hindsight, it was mental that they gave me the keys like that. I had to leave my Ducati there as security though lol It didn't do well with the PPI, but I bought it anyway. First of many Ferrari mistakes.
