    Agreed

It’s going to ding 360s and 430s not 458s because those are beiautiful and the 488 is goi g to struggle anyway.

Classic gated Ferrari’s in a world of plastic bumpered paddle cars (every manufacturer) will continue to rise, there is no competition there, it’s just a different category.

I like the front, side, love the idea of an actual trunk in a ME and even think the row of switches inside is kinda cool but am I the only one that thinks the rear looks like it was designed by a high school kid still enamored with transformers?

(Copies sorry for excess but seems like good review)
Sorry, but this deserved its own thread....didn't want it to get buried in the 100 plus page thread.

ok, I was lucky enough today to get a sneak peek preview before the big preview show tonight from 4-8 pm at my local Chevy dealership,
Paradise Chevrolet .... big thanks to them for that for letting some of us get a upclose look at her before the crowds descend upon the place later today!

    WOW!!!!!!!!

Let me just say, I've never been a Vette guy per say, but I am now!!!

HO-LEE ****!!! Car is even better in the flesh....even though it was in one of my least favorite colors, Elkhart Lake Blue Metalic, it was still beautiful ...

You can can put the "inferior interior" myth to bed.... it's gorgeous and makes Porsche feel , well, kinda old school.... which still has an appeal, but this is futuristic and on par with some of the finest Mac's, Ferrari, Lambo etc... it has a cockpit feel and everything is at the drivers fingertips... the seats are beautiful and the all the materials were plush.

still can't wrap my head around how they put this all together for a base price of $59,988!!!! Crazy!!!

granted, this was the 3LT Z51 package, but even a stripper base is going to be sick!

Sales guy told me right now there is a $5000 ADM and a lottery for the first allotments.

Z51 package is going to be around $8k, but sounds like it's well worth it.

They put two carry golf bags in the trunk no problem and has a very spacious frunk also.

Unfortunately they couldn't start it up in the show room to hear it, but I hear it sounds great as you can imagine.

I am completely sold and very much considering selling the NSX now to get one of these.....if my wife wouldn't kill me, I would have spec'd one right there and put my deposit down.....but I figure I can wait and catch a CPO in a year or two when a couple of my other cars are paid off.

Expect to see them in showrooms by Feb/March

anybody in the Temecula area should go check it out tonight from 4-8pm !!!!

Here is a few pics, I'll try to post a video later.

Regarding C8 ADMs, all of the high volume C8 dealers are selling at MSRP. There's a thread on the Corvette forum which has a list of MSRP dealers, and there are many. BTW thanks for the review and pictures.

yeah I figured the ADM will vary by dealer and location....luckily there is plenty of dealerships here in SoCal they have to compete with

    Thanks for sharing.

How was the visibility out of the front, similar to the NA1? (So far the only car that has offered a similar amount of visibility has been the 458)

I like it but I did venture to the dark side when the C6 Z06 first came out. Needless to say I was back in another 996tutbo after a year lol... I was lucky to resell it quick cause of the rare Sunset Orange color...lol
It might be different this time cause of the mid engine config, specs and design..I still don't know what to think about the rear Camaro look.. probably just need to get used to it....I also have to see it in the flesh .... Hopefully they have it at Monterey Carweek...thanks for the info...

Yeah there is nothing like the NA1/2 as far as that goes but it was really good...I didn’t see any of the hood but I didn’t play with the seat adjustments as I should have. It sits really low...plenty of head room for the taller folks. The ergonomics are extremely well put together for a driver focused car. Seats were the GT2 seats and they were very comfortable and nice looking. They are going to sale a **** ton of these cars.

Put my deposit down on 7-22-19 with Boardwalk Chevrolet as they gave MSRP unlike most of the dealership here in LA.
I am one of their first 50 allocations they have.
    Really looking forward it.

First I've seen with Carbon Flash STRIPE. Obviously black only? Wonder if there will be choice of color in the future. White or yellow on black for instance.
Do you have top and/or rear view with stripes?
