Can anyone recommend a reliable place to purchase the correct Exhaust for my 365GTB/4. I see a few ansa dealers and want to make the right decision.
    Thank you.

Consider going with a stainless steel unit. Many years ago(20 plus) I got one for my European Daytona from the UK. Exact match, great sound and no rust. The rear boxes on the Ansa exhaust would rust. The company was London Stainless Steel Exhaust. I do not know if they are still in business.

Forgot to mention that the US and Euro cars exhaust is different.

Correct for Euro or U.S. spec car ? As Mark mentioned, vastly different set-ups. As far as I know, U.S. headers are not available.
I’ve replaced couple of reproduction ANSA (Euro) sets + some components, none were good fit out of the box, all needed some tweaking, some major, some minor, even the NOS set of U.S. headers I recently installed along with reproduction mufflers and tail pipes had some fit issues.
I’ve also rebuilt some OEM components/systems.

As of a few years ago, you could still buy US spec ANSA mufflers and tailpipes. They always require tweaking (removal and re-welding hanger brackets, re-welding and re-positioning pipes). Euro-spec ANSA Daytona mufflers are no longer available. Gary Bobeliff https://www.bobileff.com/ makes perfect reproductions of the Euro Daytona mufflers. He takes some time to make them, but like all good things you must wait.

None of the stainless steel Ferrari systems for vintage cars sound like the original steel systems. I don't know if it is the material, or if they are made differently, but they just don't sound right to me.

    Yes, they are U.S. version.
Wow, I wouldn't have thought it was this difficult.

I have replaced my Daytona exhaust system with Ansa parts several times. The systems are available from time to time. Try T. Shaughnessy, motion products or GT Carparts in
    Phoenix.

If it were me, I would definitely get a stainless system. Especially if she will not be driven much. You can put Ansa decals on the SS version.

I believe they’re like any other large scale online parts supplier (rock auto, summit, etc) or Walmart.
They seem to sell anything and everything, but I wouldn’t expect any serious tech advise/- support for the items they offer, since they probably don’t know much, if anything about them, evidenced by variety of glaring description inaccuracies on many of their ”products”.

And talking about making "the right decision", unless you plan to install the system yourself and/or wish deal with potential problems with the product itself, it might be worth to consider letting the shop you contract for the job to order from their choice of supplier.
It might even save (you) time and money, let alone potential headaches.

If you deal with them please ask if they have the parts in stock or if they will be ordering them for you. there is often a time lag with that notion. Why not deal with an official Ansa dealer?. in addition to the ones I mentioned earlier I THINK GTO in LA is a dealer. You are making this too hard. If you haven't checked prices all four sections should be around $10k.

I would also recommend giving Tom a call ---- if there is a system available somewhere in the continental US, he probably knows where to find it.
