Another great race by gasly, ends it by forgetting that when you overtake, you are supposed to second guess the guy in front, not just drive through and hope he moves out the way..... sorry son, I think the goose may be cooked

 

Gasly had a poor race, but the final accident was on Albon...

He didn't help himself today, and Kvyat wound up on the podium. I expect a switch, but probably not before next year.

 

I did not actually see the race but he certainly does not seem to have had a useful day...

Hey, hey, stop. He had a good race at Silverstone and qualified fine at Germany. Yes, he later got caught by the storm, just like half the grid. Also the accident was not his fault.

But it seems that there´s a change of tendency, let´s give him some time.

 

Yes plus the collision with Albon was reviewed by the marshal panel including an ex F1 driver (not sure who it was this weekend) and deemed a racing incident so...
Amazing that of the top three teams 5 drivers did mistakes (don't forget Verstappen spun) and only Seb kept his nose clean, extremely treacherous conditions so yes let's give him the benefit of the doubt (and to respond to one poster I never stated he was the next Senna just a driver who deserves a top seat not the the same thing.).

 

Helmut Marko rules out replacing Gasly now. He says he will see out the 2019 season.

 

Pity he isn't able to do that when it really matters, like last year at the same GP.
