Cilajet isn't showing up in my search. Has anyone here had the cilajet coating done? I was looking at the ceramic pro plus and cquartz. The Ferrari dealership here is offering Cilajet for their option.

Cilajet is junk dealerships sell for
Massive profits. If you want a proper ceramic coating find someone in your area that is an authorized installers and go that route. You will get proper paint correction done and then the coating applied.

I just noticed you were in Orlando. Contact Corey at Carpro-us. He'll get you set up properly with someone that will give you an outstanding detail.

Do not do Cilajet. I had it applied inside and out on a brand new black Jaguar. First problem, a year later the dash leather peeled up despite being garaged and it needed to be replaced. Thankfully the dealer replaced the whole dash and I did not have to deal with Cilajet. In the 5th year stains appeared on the black paint that would not wash or buff out. I called Cilajet and they told me the warranty was only 5 years and I had gone over. I had to argue the form clearly states I had a 10 year warranty. After I argued that point, they said the fine print on the form states the process must be reapplied in 5 years but as a courtesy they would have it reapplied. When I called again to tell them I wanted it reapplied , they denied they said they would reapply it despite the notes and names I had documented. DO NOT do Cilajet....not worth the price and the headache and problems I encountered. A good detailer with quality products such as Mothers, Meguiars or others is definitely the way to go.

I used to be a detailer at a dealership that sold it. It was a ridiculous price for what you get. I have a few bottles of exterior Cilajet that I’ve been using if I want a easy to do seal that will last a month or so. I’d much rather have ceramic on my Corvette but it’s a bit spendy.

If I had a few bottles of Cilajet, I would throw them in the trash. For a product with a 10 year warranty, water didn't even bead up in less than a year. The black paint on my Jag XF Supercharged started to dull and fog, then stains started to be permanent. Cila jet was also applied to the entire interior and within 2 years, the dash peeled up with Desert European in Rancho Mirage replacing the dash under warranty. Great dealership. What irks me the most is they said they would reapply the Cilajet under their warranty, they kept no records of the conversation and later denied they said they would reapply it. While I did keep names, times and document the conversation which I forwarded to them, they didn't keep their word. In business your word is your bond...do what you said you would do. I would never recommend paying for Cilajet.
