Has there been any acknowledgement by the FIA that Mercedes violated the regulations during Hamilton's farcical pitstop? How is it that they haven't been penalized, any other team would have been pilloried.

They should pay a fine, just like Ferrari had to for their pit violation...

I think justice was served as this has to be the most slapstick pitstop for a long long time

It's Mercedes so the FIA will simply brush it under the carpet.

Louise should have had another penalty for driving unnecessarily slow under the safety car..... As far as I'm aware nothing happened. They probably let that 1 slide as well.

The fact that Lewis was able to get only a 5 second pit stop penalty as opposed to being forced to do a whole lap with the broken wing was another farce. Pure stupidity on the FIA’s part(again).

    FIA is in MB’s pocket.

Had Merc done a lap with the wing as it was, it is likely ANOTHER safety car would have disrupted an already highly disrupted race.

Not in the last 15 years, get with the times! The last time it could ever be considered the FIA helped Ferrari with a decision was 2004, if they even did then, because come 2005 onwards, they decided to make Ferrari scapegoats for every stupid rule change and bit of crap they could, and it’s bias towards Mercedes these days is apparent to even the most casual observer

They've been paying fines under the table to FIA for years, why do they need more!
