    Strange bidding tactics,
not stealthy and almost an early bidding challenge

I have seen this car in real life at the Ferrari dealer when it was being serviced. I have owned a Dino GT coupe since 2004. I can confirm the accuracy of the description and condition of this Yellow GTS. What a great car!
I will do my level best to keep this car in Beautiful British Columbia!!!

    $200,000 bid placed by Tquock

    BID TO $269,000 ON 7/30/19

That was a surprising outcome considering the recent market sales.
Are the serious bidders questioning the BAT venue for buying collectors quality Dinos?

The main question in my mind would be how bad is the rust? She says it was inspected by 'Ferrari' and showed just the 'normal surface rust' ....

I'd never buy a Dino unseen and undriven. You?

I'll go back to my London bus analogy - the first one along is stuffed to the gills with fare paying passengers and the third in line has very few . . .

    No.

Only thing strange is why someone would engage in such apparent shilling and chance de-legitimizing/torpedoing the sale.
Unless that was the intended goal.

Well, he did say "I will do my level best to keep this car in Beautiful British Columbia!!!", not "I intend to buy this car".;)

That goes for a lot of 1950-1980's cars, or whenever real rustproofing materials were used by the factory. Also applies to cars that lived their lives in winter or very wet climates. Of course, that's a generalized statement, but it's a guideline I use.
