Side scoop less objectionable on darker car. Carbon flash still has too much metal flake for my taste. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is a pretty big car. Small is not a word I would use. But better looking in person. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am attending the Corvette Homecoming in Bowling Green the end of this month. I simply can't wait to lay eyes (and hopefully hands) on one!
Just one car. This same car is making the rounds. They have an orange and white one going around the East Coast. But this blue is really good looking.

I stand corrected on the color. That red looks vibrant. Mayor will you be doing another cross country trip for your convertible?
Quite a good article here with lots of C7 / C8 comparisons, including sliders https://www.topspeed.com/cars/chevrolet/2020-chevrolet-c8-corvette-stingray-ar186200.html The C8 is 6 inches longer, 2 inches wider, about the same height but 150 lbs heavier than the C7. As I said yesterday when I saw it, it does not come across as "a small car" at all. In fact it looks rather large to me.
6 inches longer than C7 ?! That's not a small nor subtle difference. Haven't seen it in person yet, but i would agree ... not a "small car".
I thought this was going to move their demo from a guy looking for a coffin to a guy who wants a car that may put him in a coffin.
Just wanted to say "told you so" and gloat a little. I said there would be ONE car - a mid engine only, and I said it would be less than $65-70K. All the signs pointed to this, and Chevy will hopefully leverage this car to gain share in Europe. I think they have a chance. My guess is they CAN (not will) sell 5,000 cars, which would be massive for them.
