Here in NYC/Long Island area the Jibonis whould replace black plastic with chrome, looked like sh:& IMO. There will be someone who will clean up some of the design, as it is fibreglass and can be easily manipulated. First will be the side intake. I personally would like to see glass where the black out piece is behind the side window, would give better vision to the blind spot and a just a better overall finish. But as people keep saying it's 60K. My guess, most cars won't see under 75K after a few upgrades to seats, wheels, interior. Still a bargain if it drives well and mait costs are sane.
I’m from New Zealand and was excited that it was being built in a RHD. I was the first to pay a deposit here in NZ and we have no idea of the price or delivery date. I have been told around $150k NZ ($98kUS) and January 2021 as a guide. I own a Ferrari 599 Vorsteiner and a 2016 Roush Mustang RHD. I don’t see this as a replacement for my Ferrari, just another toy for the shed and more of a daily driver. Great to see Chevrolet recognising the rest of the world, thanks guy. I’m tossing up between Torch Red, Rapid Blue or White and I will load it with as many options as I can. You can never have too many toys, am I right? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jim2 quoted. Go to 4:40 I think FerrariChat has done more to promote the C8 than the Vette forum! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have a brown C8 at Road America this weekend for the IMSA races. This might be the last C7R IMSA factory appearance at Road America also. I saw pictures of a C8 race version at Road America last year testing and still no announcement. I bet it shows up at Daytona or Sebring, but no one on the team will say anything ofcourse. Love the brown. Would do the two tone black and tan interior, and have the wheels done in a 70's era matte gold. Maybe the carbon accent package. No rear wing. YUM!
I keep finding more pictures of this ceramic matrix gray car. The back end is way better than I first thought. This is the look I want, complete with the black boomerang. Image Unavailable, Please Login I am no longer trying to choose between a 612 and an FF. This is what I want for a touring GT.
While Ferrari F8 Tributo is a game-changer; the Corvette C8 is a disruptor.... In mid-2020, I’d predict 458’s and 488’s prices plummeting like rocks.
Right about that. Seems like about 10+ FChatters have already put down deposits in the first two weeks. Has anybody been keeping count?
Yup...Just to get a different color tach on an F car costs that much...They must use an awful lot of paint.
