2019 Formula One Season ***Possible Spoilers***

Daniil Kvyat may have been on the podium in Germany but Helmut Marko has emphatically shut down the possibility of him switching teams this season, despite Pierre Gasly's patchy form.
Kvyat stayed composed during all of the chaos at the German Grand Prix as he came over the line in third place after he was overtaken by Sebastian Vettel for second in the closing stages. It was Kvyat's first podium since the 2016 Chinese Grand Prix and his third overall but it was his first with Toro Rosso.
Gasly meanwhile failed to finish the race as he crashed into the back of Toro Rosso driver Alex Albon bringing his race to a premature end. After a pressure-relieving race at Silverstone Gasly's future is now back under the spotlight and after Kvyat's podium performance at the Hockenheimring could he replace the Frenchman?
It appears not yet as Helmut Marko has revealed they will make no changes in 2019.
"We have the teams that we have and we will finish the season that way," he said

2016 Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg believes that Max Verstappenis a better driver than Lewis Hamilton. The former racer believes that if the two raced in equal cars then the Dutchman would always come out on top. Verstappen excelled in the wet conditions at the German Grand Prixand being able to perform in rain is usually a sign of a special driver.
"Verstappen had a great racing pace, did everything well and deserved this victory," Rosberg gave the trumpet in the analysis on his YouTube channel. "It is already his second win of the season and he is only 22 points from Bottas in a Mercedes.
"He is well ahead of the Ferraris, who generally have a better car than Verstappen. He is incredible this year, he is doing very well this season and is currently only 61 points behind Lewis. That is quite impressive halfway through the season."
Rosberg is so impressed that he thinks Verstappen is actually a better driver than the five time World Champion.
"If they were to drive the same car, I think Verstappen would be in front of Hamilton in the championship right now. Although this weekend's lower score [of Hamilton] also has to do with that.
"Verstappen is simply the best at the moment driver in Formula 1. It is very impressive what he shows, the Netherlands is going crazy, they are still celebrating in the stands. It is beautiful to see and that is what we simply want."
Verstappen will hope that Red Bullcontinue to give him a car capable of competing at the top of the grid and that he can prove himself as the best driver on the grid.

Lewis Hamilton has said that he will not allow the footage of him from the German Grand Prix to be shown on season two of the Netflix series 'Drive to Survive'. Mercedes and Ferrari have given Netflix permission to film after not partaking in season one.

It is thought that the Netflix cameras were only allowed inside the Mercedes garage for one Grand Prix and they chose their home German Grand Prix to film.
"We have given the Netflix guys more content than on any other weekend," Toto Wolff was quoted by GPFans.
It is thought that Hamilton won't let footage of himself be used.
"I won’t be in the Netflix show much, because I was sick the whole time," he said. "I won’t allow them to release that."
Mercedes had a disastrous weekend but the footage the cameras would have got from the garage would have been priceless. It will be interesting to see how much is released.

John James Purvis at the very least, I agree. My thing is that this is supposed to be a glimpse into the things we never get to see as fans, good and bad.. and I would think he would rather people see him overcome adversity and compete anyway. My thought is that would make people respect him more. I just get the sore loser feeling about this ya know..

Seems a bit bizarre how he gets pole on Saturday and said all he had was a sore throat.

Has a bad day on Sunday (nothing to be ashamed of, every driver has had them) and it’s suddenly because he was seriously unwell. If he’s genuinely unwell then surely the footage would reflect that and garner him some sympathy?

It was a masterclass, but not by Lewis...Mercedes back to their flawless strategy with a dominant car. Like I said, if Ferrari hadn't been so far back giving that free pit stop to Lewis, he'd never have got past Max.
