I have been running RE-11's have used up 7 sets, now what to get? tire rack has Firestone Tire for $500 a set of 4 with a descent looking tread pattern. Has anyone tried them? if not these, what should I get? Looking for maximum summer grip, don't care about cost, don't care about rain grip, or road noise, just want the strongest grip available at any price that is DOT that can be rated to run up to 165mph.
I have the Hankook. They obviously don't compare to the MP4S I have on my 911 but they fit the 360, are cheap, and work fine. After I get the fenders rolled I might experiment with better tires in slightly different sizes that "fit".
Firehawk Indy 500 is a rebranded Bridgestone RE003, Google that you will see what I am saying. probably a little lower dry performance than RE11. if you stay with stock size, P-Zero System is pretty decent tire, old tech though . In stock on Tirerack. if you go to 225/45-18 (instead of 215), 275/40-18. you have more choices, Michelin PSS (old tech, but decent dry grip), S007A, Contisport (good overall tire), Nexen SUR4G (good in dry performance, suck in everything else). SUR4G will have best dry grip by far, but will be louder and won't last as long (and is frowned upon by FC police). S007A is "spiritial successor" to your RE11 according to Tirerack's video !! all the above are also Y rated (so 186mph)
I run Michelin pilot sport 4s on the oem starfish and bridgestone re71 on the 19" stradale wheels...quite pleased with both. I track with both of them...the ps4s for larger high speed tracks like circuit of the Americas...re71 for the shorter tighter tracks. michelins need some time to warm up and get sticky compared to the re71, but they perform better in the rain than the re71s and last longer.
To run Michelin PS4S on 18” starfish wheels, looks like you need 225/40-18 and 285/35-18. Fronts are 0.5” smaller diameter than stock 215/45-18 and rears are 0.8” smaller than stock 275/40-18. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat

Hankook Ventus on mine. Cheap, good for cruising, not as good as the Pirellis or Pilot Sports for grip.
You may have missed this in the OPs first post: "Looking for maximum summer grip, don't care about cost, don't care about rain grip, or road noise, just want the strongest grip available at any price that is DOT that can be rated to run up to 165mph. " Which I would include the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo...but beware, they come factory molded depth of 6/32" with not much tread.
I had the Hanook evo's and didn't like them. To me they rode rough and slipped a little. Used them up on a track weekend. MP4's for me. HTH
if you can go to 225/40-18 and 285/35-18. Op's best tire choice would be RS4. way more dry grip than PS4S.. W rated to 168MPH if you want 235/40-18 and 295/35-18. The ultimate street tire is Yokohama A052. That's king of hill for street tire currently.. only SC2-R and Trefolio-R are better (but don't come in the size and are track only tire).
I have the Firestones and they have worked very well although i will say when i first got them on stock Starfish rims the sidewalls seems a little soft. I then mounted wider 360 BBS Challenge rims and they have been EXCELLENT
Im a new 360 owner and will be getting new tires in the near future. My question here is 4 wheel alignment. Can any tire shop do a alignment on the 360 or do I need to find a Ferrari mechanic?
I wouldn't recommend it for now. I only posted it up because there was a mention of the size (can't find it now though, I think it is in the link above). Many have ran 225, that's what I would recommend on a 360 front. as for rear, 275/40-18 (better fit imo) or 285/35-18 (slightly smaller in diameter).
I have a new set of RE11s and a set of Firestones inbound, will try each in the final, last word! drive off, stand by.
I put them on 19” cs rims. Opposite of soft . At first I thought they were too hard for street use, but got used to them quickly and would recommend.
Same for me. Running the Firestone Indy 500 on 18” Challenge wheels. 225 in front, 275 in the rear. They have been great! Image Unavailable, Please Login
