Crazy how many T-28s were there. 4 rows in this pic alone. There are more I couldn’t fit in the pic! Even crazier that there were MORE Mustangs!!!

thanks for posting all the pics!
Great memories from our visits almost 10 years ago now.

Looks like the twin mustang flew in?? So cool to have one airworthy again.

I can't remember if I posted this before but when I was working on the line at Sarasota Bradenton Airport after the war a P-82 flew in one day and stayed there for a few days. Only one pilot who said little to anyone and I can't recall if he was military but I assume that he was. It was was of the most amazing vehicles that I had ever seen and when it cranked up and left, the sound and sight was something unreal, even if I had heard many P-39's and P-40's before. I had also heard P-38's but their voices were muffled by the turbo chargers so it was amazing to hear the twin Allisons as it took off. What a bizarre aircraft !

Speaking of strange ones, did anyone catch the AN-2 that flew in (parked down by the Ultralights)?

Yep, not there, but saw the pic.
Largest biplane in the world, I think. 1,000 HP, Produced for over 50 years.

Yep - very interesting airplane, and the people who flew it in were very nice to talk to. They used the fuselage as an observation platform during the airshow -- not many aircraft there would try that

Nobody jumped, but compared to the usual King Airs & Caravans that I see here, it moved slowly enough for me to run & grab a camera even after I heard it spool up for takeoff!

Found the old tread for Oshkosh. I think 2023 is the best year since the pandemic for the airshow.
