You wouldn’t believe the mess they have trying to decide which car and which month to be revealed each project. I wish I could show you at least 3 different marketing slides that shows different month for all models almost.
Coincidentally the number 6 launch for 2020 is a V6.

And please always consider that my information could suffer changes, its very unlikely but it’s Ferrari. And with Ferrari you never know.

    Different front and rear.
    Coupe= No retractable roof.

I'm thinking they're going to get rid of the trunk and give it more of a hatchback look ala the F-Type coupe.

Also, it seems reasonable to expect a track focused "Speciale" version.

i would really like to see an NA coupe something like the porsche GT program i think a portifino coupe with an 650hp NA V8 would be a pretty cool car simliar to a GT3...

So what will be the mother car of this 10500 rpm, 1000hp v12 rear midengined NA car?. I see Laferrari is the only suitable chassis for this. Can we relate this to the long rumored "other version" of laferrari?
Besides this 2020 will also see the 812vs at Geneva.( according to a member here. May be Day355? Can't remember now) and he/she also stated this (812vs) car is perfect from every aspect.

The CEO mentioned in the analyst call that the next Icona car is due in 2022, as production of the Monza ends in 2021.

Lamborghini does ..and and so does ferrari in fact they have about 800 in the 812..and for that matter i suspect people would be happy with the 458 speciale engine etc...

Yes and those are all about to be extinct.

To develop a new one is likely wasted billions.

    It's over folks.

And ya they aren't going to out an 812 engine in a portofino.

They aren't going to encroach anywhere near the 812. That's what they have the 812 for.

They can't afford the development. They can't afford the hit to CAFE. They can't afford the hit to emissions.

Face it... It's all being regulated out. Slowly but surely.

This is the hope for exotics, and maybe for EV's more widely, but not yet. The first generations of consumer EV's will be worthless when they need new batteries. Over $8K is a lot!

Agreed, old commodity cars not worth it!

And I'm sure it will not come cheap for old exotics.

I have no doubt that Ferrari is not going to do it my original post was what I would like to have seen in the Portifino coupe .... however one of the biggest things that drew me to Ferrari back in the day was the SOUND and there is no way to replicate the NA Ferrari sound on a Turbo engine just not compatible..... I am fine with Turbo power as a source have lots of Turbo powered cars .. just think that the turbos lose some of the romance and fascination that made people pay insane amounts of money for Ferraris ... ... of course they seem to be selling just fine so I only speak for myself ...

    I agree completely.

I wish Ferrari would make a small and efficent say 3.0 liter v8 or 10 or 12... make it rev to eleventy billion... put a nice 6 speed... shape it like a250 testa rossa... no roof... no windows... just light light light... and an f1 like sound track... I don't care if it only makes 350 hp as long as it looks like sex on wheels and makes you feel good driving it.

I think there is actually going to be a market for cars that make people "feel" because it will be all lost in the electric car era
