I'm interested in giving it a try, most likely won't like it with smell etc. but if anyone has a set of used pipes they are looking to sell I would be interested in picking them up and giving it a whirl.

Car is a 1998 5.2 F355 with hyperflow, secondary cat delete and Tubi exhaust. Has anyone here done it recently? Overall thoughts, feedback, likes, dislikes? Thank you

Yes fitted a set about 3 weeks ago. Only done a short test drive not 100% sure I am liking the sound but not had time to go for a longer drive.
    I have tubi FWIW.

I have a set of fabspeed cat delete pipes they are used, I haven't touched them since I bought them.

I gutted my cats instead of using these

I just did this on a 5.2. I think there are no issues with fumes but it is a bit noiser at idle than i'd like. Going to wait and see what happens with CELs before i make a final decision.

Im running my car 1997 5.2, with primary cat delete and secondary cat delete.

with primary cat delete, you will for sure have stronger exhaust smell..
while driving you will not notice. but depending air direction waiting at a light you will smell it. and people behind you will smell it too.

I will be keeping my setup as is, as I believe it is by far the best sounding.

I had the primary cat delete for 2 seasons combined with oem ypipe..

but this spring I put in aftermarket ypipe.. and when the bypass opens.. the sound is way better.
the stock ypipe holds back a lot of sound.

I did Tubi Test pipes on my '95 2.7...

It's louder and more roar-ier. I need straight pipes next!

Sounds a bit rough at lower revs, to my ears. Its ok once you are over 4k though. Not 100% sure if I will keep it like this but we will see.
