I may sell my 488GTB to free up cash for a business opportunity to expand my business. I know the cars vary according to options/colors etc. What is my car worth on trade/ retail approximately? Any input is appreciated.. 2018 488GTB 1 owner Excellent condition no marks or blemishes at all. $282,500 MSRP 2210 Miles Corsa Red/Cuoio LED Carbon Wheel Red Stitching Red Calipers Lifter Alcantara Headliner Shields Power Seats Yellow Tach Novitec valveless exhaust Suntek PPF entire hood, front, rockers, mirrors Thanks!
Typically dealer will give you about 15% off from your sticker which is what I got when I traded in my 2016 Spider exactly 2 years after I bought it with 4K miles. However, since the 488 has been out for a while it maybe lower than that so YMMV. Good luck with sale and are you still in the first right of refusal time period with the dealer? If not, maybe exotic dealer may be another option to try.
Don’t know how the market is in VA, but it is very soft here in FL. Too many exotics for sale and too few buyers. I sold my ‘17 488 Spider 2 months ago and the non-Ferrari dealer I sold it to told me the other day he would offer me $10K less for the car today. He said Mannheim auctions for these cars continue to fall.

I think the first right or refusal is for 12 months only but I could be wrong. I have owned this car for about 16 months now. I will have the dealer put a number on it then go from there...
In my opinion the way there tanking, the dealer would give you about 210 to 220 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe 225. I update my prediction. Mind you Im not pulling this out of thin air- I just sold my 488. 329k msrp. Was loaded.
I agree that's the correct range and more likely towards 220 because of your color combo. Obviously this is all conjecture.
thanks for the pic. fantastic spec. wish i was in the market for a 488 right now i would snatch this up
There are so many 488s for sale and this one is pretty basic. If you can get $240K that would be a win. Dealers will offer even less. Good luck either way.
I have been following the trend at 3 different dealership. Sadly it appears the 220 range is about right if selling to the dealer. I don’t see any problem with the color combo. Can you shed more light to your concern about the OP’s color combination?
Wow.. What a drop. The business model of Ferrari as a public company mirrors that of McLaren, and reasonably so are the product depreciation. Too many new cars in a relative short time.
Absolutely! The current market and sentiment for these cars has seen these 488's take a major nose dive and it doesn't look like recovering - can and is only getting worse now. But at least a used Ferrari can sell if its cheap enough. In comparison Maclaren is in a whole different league. Just try and find a buyer at any money. You buy a Mac get ready to die with it. They are worth virtually zero - scrap value. A horror story. No one wants to trade them unless for peanuts as they know they will most likely be left to take peanuts shells for them. Its ugly...very very ugly.
It’s only going to get worse. I bet Ferrari dealers will soon be selling brand new production cars at less than MSRP. The product life cycle has been reduced and there are way too many exotic competitors, hell I bet the C8 will pull away some existing customers.
The C8 in itself will not change anything - the Nissan GT-R did not, and before the original Honda NSX did not... The question is only whether Ferrari will manage the balance between production and demand. They may be stupid but my bet is that they will not let brand new car sell for less than MSRP, they have enough margin to adjust so that they make sure they sell at MSRP. With the Pista they have tested the market, they could sell all of them but my take is that they felt it was close to the limit - hence their more reasonable pricing for the F8 and even the SF90.
I would bet OP probably netted about $210K for their car, after all fees. I agree with the prior post from Gh, the car is too basic. You also have a few options that yield $0 on resale, like the headliner, electric seats, etc.
He is saying the OP's color combo would yield a slightly higher selling price, instead of say Black exterior.
That's Australia, they may have more dramatic views Coming from the South of France I'm familiar with this kind of approach
