Is it me, or someone mentioned that this part is virtually 'unobtanium' ?

I have a friend that needs a pair, and has scoured the world. Cannot vouch for his ability...

    Help?

    Alberto,
if your search for OEM fails, perhaps consider having your local/in-house(?) metal fabricator make them. Should be easy if you have sample(s).
    Just a thought.

Timo, we tried, but it is very difficult due to the very small indentation.
    Are they rare / demand?

Brandoli will make you some Alberto. www.brandoli.it/en/
I have seen them on ebay from time to time, but not of late.
Also try Ferrari UK just in case they have some you never know.

I had to have one made locally and it came out an excellent match to the sample I had. I can have a pair made for you, but they are expensive. Would take about 4 weeks I think, because my source is always backed up. I need a Thermostat housing (top and bottom) for my Daytona If anyone has a source for them.

The shop that made my plate would probably want about $600.00 each without plating that you would have done after final fitting.

I think I have found a relatively good solution. Will post asap.

Wonder how much of a demand there might be if at a reasonable price,
of course nothing like what has been mentioned.

    Regards, Alberto

Well, they have turned out just the way they were supposed to be.

What puzzles me, is I have them on ebay and apparently no one wants them.
Maybe I ought to raise the price...?

Hello Alberto, I hope you're well; I've not been too well (lyme disease!) But am fighting back and restarting my Daytona project - how much might a pair of your escutcheons be? And did you get any further with the Daytona seat mounts/sliders project? I still need a pair - any joy?
    Kind regards
    Duncan Armstrong

    Hello Duncan,

    Items are achievable.
Please let us continue our conversation : alberto.guirola at gmail.com

There I will fill you in with more concrete details, photos, etc. about your various queries.

I am out on the field a lot these days, and easier to read my mail rather than f-chat due to connectivity issues.

Hope you improve your health, Lyme is no joke!

Lovely idea...you will also need a shrinker/stretcher, a few power tools, a polishing wheel, and an English wheel.
After that, a little talent in metal working and body panel shaping, should work perfect!! :)
