I still think Ferrari has very little clue how much they can charge for their cars (because in all cases, it's more than reasonable when considering costs) - my feeling is that with the Pista, they pushed the price so far that, while I have no doubt they will sell all of them, they do not have the demand giving them the comfort they like compared to supply. IMHO that's why they priced the F8 (and now the SF90) more reasonable, to get back the comfort of demand vs supply balance they enjoy.

Yeah, every year for the next 6+ years...

They sold 8K Aventadors in 5-6 years. There is no way Ferrari is going to sell only 1-2K of these total. It would be a massive financial loss.

around 500 cars/year for 4 years/production is the goal for Ferrari for this specific car.

Could be 2,000 for the initial run, then subsequent refreshed models.

I don't know their goal, and you don't know - this is all just fun speculation.

Producing too many will destroy the brand, lose even more money. They have a platform with the SF90 that could easily underpin a number of vehicles and the hybrid technology is quite simple and will fit into Portofino and replacement F8. This is where most of the cost is. 2k production therefore sounds plausible. The market will want something different after that. Aventador has had a launch car, an S, an SV, a Jota, an Anniversary.... Probably Ferrari won’t do exactly that but they won’t let SF90 get stale either.

It's not a special model, so normal production levels won't harm anything. This is a more expensive F8, an Aventador to the Huracan. It's nothing even close to resembling a special model that needs extremely low production.

I'd expect Coupe, Spider, Special and Aperta as usual for the segment.

All I heard is that they will be very few of them sent to any dealership .. like 812 production. So I am assuming its about 1 car a month ours.. just a while guess. For perspective they are getting 20+ Pistas and 8 or so Pista Spiders so if you do the math its about as rare as a Pista Spider will be.. which is like spotting a unicorn here and I live in quite a large Ferrari market.

I am considering and allocation. My dealer says 200/year production for 4 years. That would be a pretty rare car then.

New Ferrari collectible cars, numbered and difficult to obtain without Ferrari buyer pedigree, much less than 1000 as usual: they are not those limited by production capacity; many models to choose from Ferrari in the coming years, SF90 Stradale is series production car, should be around 2500 cars total or more, it will share its new hybrid technology with Purosangue and other models coming in the pipeline.

I somewhat agree, but then again, relatively big price point for a car that has a different type of built in obsolescence.

Seeing that Ferrari isnt accepting any more orders for the SF90, does anyone know how many units will be built Coupe vs Spider?
