    Looks like a nice car, at a very nice price. I would not mind to have another one. There were some shocking low prices on many of the cars I thought.

    Overall auction throughput is down. Surprisingly enough, that Safari on BAT is at 40K with a couple hours left! Maybe we should all lift our cars and throw some Mickey Thompson Super Swampers on there?!?

    I agree. a few years back they were. But recently a BAT car brought 65K, and to me it wasn't worth 45. I worked on that car for three months this year . I guess the right buyer needs to be bidding

    That BAT GT4 did not make reserve at $46,760. That car is pointless, neither fish nor fowl. I don't know what those guys at Driver Source were thinking. Usually their inventory is very straight-forward original cars. I guess they thought they'd impress some hooners at Monterey.:confused: Somebody posted that the reserve was $88K. Huh? I'm surprised BAT allowed a reserve that high. Most people I know who have auctioned cars there get pushback from BAT over reserves. My guess is that DriverSource was accommodated as a dealer who might send them more business.

    That poor car....and it has the desirable rear seats delete.

    As I posted on the site, if this car was a foray into possible Porsche-type "builds" that could be inflicted on Ferraris then I'm very glad it failed.

    Talked to the new owner of the GT4 that was at Bonhams. We were at Concorso talking about my GT4. He admitted he stole it, I agreed. He said he had other ones and wasn’t sure if was going to take it to the next level or just drive it. He was at the right auction at the right time.

    The seller says BAT put pressure on him to reduce his reserve. I've heard this frequently, or that BAT insists on a lower reserve before accepting the consignment. He commented that he was expecting $60K, so BAT talked him into a 20% haircut so they could get their commission.
