Cherry pick the points as usual. A. your 328 GTB was an import, not surprised you chose to get rid of that one. B. still haven't told me where I can get a loved 328 for $150K C. 40 years of Ferrari ownership does count but it's just your opinion, no better or worse than anyone else's. This feeling of self worth really now needs the intervention of a trained medical professional PP.
I remember a delivery miles ‘89 328 being advertised for quite a while in Unique Cars for $240k. This was a couple of years after the 348 came out.
I just looked up the fchat dictionary for the word 'cant' and there's a photo of you holding a bunsen burner ...... have know eye deer what that is suppose to mean
Great looking number plate Pity about the colour coded bumpers Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I have no recollection of that competition (didn't uang around in pubs) but I would have been very torn between the 328 and the Countach...
A. Of course it was an import.... They never released them in Australia. Point is it was much better to drive than a spaghetti GTS, yet it was still an easy choice to sell it and keep the others. B. Anywhere, if one's genuinely for sale. C. Opinion based on much more knowledge than you have. *obligatory insult *. Whatever
I think they reached that peak again a year or two ago too, but the market has softened a lot since then.... There's nothing left but dreamers like Mark now.
This guy might be dreaming... https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1989-Ferrari-328-GTS-Manual/SSE-AD-5979075?pageSource=details&id=SSE-AD-5979075 Everyone else is wide eyed and fully awake.
Nothing much has moved on the under 1990 Carsales site for months. My 308 lasted not quite a month 'cos an enthusiast wanted it and I recall a fairly priced Mondial only lasted about a week. As for the rest in that timeline, most are wiping off the cobwebs weekly.
I know all 328 GTB's were all imports. You hate imports, that's why the decision to get rid of it was an easy one. Still just hot air about finding me a good 328 for $150k or even less apparently. I think I'll put it out to the paid, professional motoring journalists to give me the low down on the 328. Funny, can't seem to find many bagging them in my search.
You're now officially just another fool. I don't hate imports. Don't put words in my mouth..... Or anything else I sold it because it was the least interesting of them all to drive, and one of them was a "lowly" 308GT4. YEP.... Even one of those is more interesting to drive by a significant margin. Actually, I wish I still had my 308GT4! I don't miss my 328 though. Not at all. BORING
I like them. Actually I think the 328 is at least as good looking as a 308. What they’re like to drive or own I have no idea.
I have always liked the 328 but the changes to the nose and switchgear is not as good as the old style switchgear and black bumpers
That's fair enough and obviously others share your view but it's exactly those changes to the front and rear that I think improve the exterior. As for the interior, I'm not familiar with the difference. It's hard to believe, though, that a car that is essentially an updated 308 can be a complete POS but the 308 is supposedly awesome. I reckon a well sorted 328GTB would probably be a decent steer for what it is. Maybe Peter bought a dud?
