I have been going through a list of things that can fail or do fail and are consumable, inexpensive and easily replaced items, especially if you xref the parts, $700 part turns into a $60 part. Since these parts are going on 30 years old, replacing them whole sale before they cause problems makes sense to me. I prefer to avoid death by 1000 paper cuts as it were and just go through them at one shot.

Here is a list of items I have identified, does anyone have any other items that are consumable? I feel there are more fuel/vacum/air/check values, sensors I am missing that someone out here has had issues with.

    Cut off valve - 147390
    Non return VALVE/CHECK- 148494
    Anti-Evaporation valve - 130978
Roll over valve-139568 (Cant find one or xref part)
    Radiator Fan Sensor - 158655
Water Temperature Sender Unit, for Water Manifold - 104628
    Water Temperature Sensor - 125769
Oil Pressure Sender Unit - 135940
    Thermocouple - 156547
    Oxygen Sensor - 121515
    Angular Speed Sensor - 130975
    Oil Radiator Thermoswitch - 123277
    Thermostat - 165473

A couple of years ago the local Ferrari dealer unloaded their stock of Brembo rotors with pads. Bought a 4-wheel set at give-away prices.

Picked up a spare trans with clutch pack too.

Hopefully I won't need any of these but I couldn't pass due to their prices

Yep I get it hard to pass up and if you ever need it, you'll be glad you have it.

For this though I am am thinking consumable parts, switches, valves, sensors etc. Saw a post from Ernie where his tank was crushing due to check valves stuck open, I just bought to new ones for $68 as an example.

FPR is a good one, yes thanks, cheap and easy definitely falls into why not replace it after 30 years, for me at least, not everyone will agree and that's fine.

If you have never replaced them, put in new fuel pump dampening sleeves. The old sleeves deteriorate, crumble apart, and can cause fuel supply issues, including the pump/s failing. Last I looked Daniel at Ricambi sell them made out of Viton.

Yes I read your thread on fuel pump rebuild. I have those parts on my list as well. Nope it has never been done. Actually many of the items I have slated come from your posts.
    Fuel Pump 155592
    Fuel Pump Anti-Vibration Pad 126807
Fuel Pump Plug O Ring 134233
    Fuel Pump Rubber Gasket 144232
Fuel Filter Cover Rubber Gasket 126809
    Fuel Pump Cable Cover 137612
    Fuel Pump O Ring 138453

I sure wish I could fine a xref for Roll over valve-139568. Lots of used ones out there, I have a used on in my car already though :). Sure would like a new one.

NLA, and finding good used ones are just as difficult as finding someone who's competent enough to repair them.

Prices for used have gone up 300% during the past 5 years.

So many connections are old or corroded or externally or internally I just replaced most sensors that can cause issues, at 29 years old it's time. Fans for example they tend to draw more power st start as they age so I read out here, who wants fuse box problems, cheap to replace with new ones, besides who wants motors to fail when in traffic in NJ.

Well sorted car means well sorted and there is no short cut I don't believe in waiting for something to break or leave me stranded with stuff we know if going to fail in time, they are known as consumables for a reason, at 29 years old the clock is running out gremlins creep in. Driving in the city is different than living in Scottsdale like I used to there I would probably wait, every try and get towed out of downtown NJ city? It ain't fun.

Yes things can still break I could throw a rod tomorrow but a majority of the items I got from the forum. Every time I read a "help" or "CEL light" or a repair thread that someone had a problem with that item goes on my list. Lots from Ernies threads, who wants a collapsed gas tank, not me, on the list those check valves went. :)

Aside from the major done at purchase time, its all DIY. Lots of shiny new electrical connections/components all corrosion treated with factory level resistance. The car purrs I'll tell you that.

I probably have done a few things a and forgot to record on my master list but here is my progress so far that I remembers to record.

Trying to add to a spares box. So I got one. Prices on these is absurd alright, even broken ones can break the bank. I found a new on in Spain I think I was can't remember, it was $6500 USD, passed on that. Let's hope the one I got works from sitting in a box. Guess well see. I'm skeptical all around on it.
    Still looking for Bosch FPR's.

BTW the Standard Motors IAC valves were horrible, I sent them back before installing them, then ordered MEAT DORIA ones 4 months ago and am still waiting for them so I went and found the original Bosch ones. I'll probably give away the MEAT DORIA ones to someone who needs them.

I updated the list and included part numbers for others to leverage if they wish. Many are the correct Bosch x-ref, correct as in I actually go them and put them in. The fuel pumps were a bit of an xref gamble it was not clear, turns out it is correct. Hope some find it useful.
Everything with an asterisk is done so far. Covid is going to put me back a year to finish it. Still need my gorgeous carpet installed and custom mats cut for it with the same material.
