I am listing my 1967 Fiat Dino 2.0 Coupe I co-own with my best friend Nick. Car # 135AC0001463, she comes with a Fiat Certificate of Origin and has had extensive work done over the last 4 years. We bought her after a full glass out, to the metal respray in a gorgeous Alfa Rossa 130 Variant D. Nick has been finishing up a few odds and ends, and I am listing it here before eventually going to BaT if it doesn't find a home within a reasonable amount of time. We obviously intend to fully detail before more photos, but for now, to get a gist. She sits with Nick at his home in Colfax, CA. We are asking $48,900 for her or best offer. Other work includes: Just Dashes- CA- Restored the two pieces of the dash, the glove box and cover, and the center console: $3,500 bill for that Central Texas Custom Car Shop did the body and paint. It was stripped to 100% bare metal, and all body work was completed: $16,000+ bill for that. It is painted Alfa Romeo Rossa 130 Variant D. All of the wheels have been blasted and refinished Mileage is at 12,719kms (our assumption is that is 112K's) so roughly, 69,000 miles or so The engine has even compression, and doesn’t smoke. Carbs have been rebuilt and finishing the tune currently. The brakes have been resealed and now work well. Transmission shifts smoothly and is not clunky. Tach was redone by Palo Alto Speedometer in CA (the best gauge shop in the US imho) Recent electrical and tuning work at a shop outside Colfax, another $1K+ spent here The Koni shocks have very few miles on them and are like new Freshly re-chromed front bumper, and many of the other brightwork is either re-done, or in excellent condition. There is no rust, this is a sorted car. The exhaust is a 3-into-1, headers back system This is an early Dino, #1463, so not a Dinoplex car, just simple coil/points ignition system The interior is in excellent condition, and original. Many seals, gaskets and rubber stripping has been redone. The glass was all taken out for the body and paint, and is all resealed now. We purchased an original steering wheel and leather cover too. It is a nicer end, driver quality Dino. Not a 100 point car, but a car with fresh paint, sorted mechanicals, and an excellent interior. Great looking car Ken! I think I'm one of the few that likes this body style better than the spider. I know that Just Dashes is pricey, but how happy were you with their work? Is it pretty close to indistinguishable from OEM? Fwiw, I have an Alfa Montreal and will need to have the dash repaired as well as the tri-fold panel under the rear glass that covers up the under hatch storage (someone cut holes in it for 6x9 speakers back in the day). Glws.
Thanks Mark. Me too. Never been a big Spider fan. Had a few Coupes and the body style is preferred IMO on looks. We’re happy with the dash, though the “scale” was probably hard to replicate to OEM. It seems a TEENY bit bigger than stock, but besides that excellent. Thanks for the kind words.
PS New shift knob, shift boot cover, horn button ordered for her. In the mail now and Nick will be installing. Currently tuning and dialing her in. Better idea of paint color here too Image Unavailable, Please Login

I thought this would've been a good venue to sell this, but godamn, it's been pretty much crickets. Let's see what that teal one in England sells for today on BaT. Body wise, interior wise, and engine wise this car is just as good if not a bit better with rechroming and a lot of attention to detail over the past year.
These plummeted recently. $30k for 1 a month ago on BaT and one just sold for around the same a couple days ago on BaT. GLWS
The car in the high $20’s was no where near this caliber. Also. That car did not sell yesterday. High bid was mid $40’s These have not “plummeted” Those that are in the know, know what a good one looks like and they command decent prices.
Your asking price is good. Don't get me wrong. Its actually a great price! I meant the price point of last year, being almost double your asking (about 90k was the going last year). Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Yup, and the one on BAT yesterday was in the Europe also. I was surprised it didn't make reserve if nothing else for that reason (shipping, etc) These coupes are too cool and love the respray on this one. I've needed paint for way too long on my 308 Dino and that color would really pop. This will sell. BAT seems to get the eyeballs these days, and I'd think they'd work with you on the reserve. Heck, the one yesterday couldn't have been that much less reserve...this one is also the right color ha ha
Really no takers? Not even an inquiry? Jeez. Naples has a SHELL. A godamn SHELL for $50K Let’s find this a new home. Puleeeeze $44,900
Great job with the work.... I agree these were headed way up in the market at one time. Just timing I suppose and broaden your advertising??
Good luck with the sale! I had a 1967 2.0 for 8 years, bought in Honolulu from same guy I bought a Quattroporte (now for sale here and on Barnfinds auction). Brought it to San Diego and then Santa Barbara where it was sold on consignment in 1988 for $8,500. Nice car! Bob Image Unavailable, Please Login
