Josh, sorry to hear about your situation. Reminds me of when I tried to have my 300ZX Twin-turbo motor rebuilt by a mechanic who said he could but couldn't. $4,0000 later, he told me to sell the car and move on. I didn't want the aggravation and let the $4,000 go and and then went to 1 of th 2 top Z32 shops in California. The rebuild cost $19.000 and the car runs fabulously now.
It may be time to let go and find another shop.
Regarding stealerships, I stopped going to local Ferrari Dealership and am much much happier.

I'm sorry to hear this and this crap is not that unusual. I do my own work 95% of the time and the one time I 'gifted' myself a major on my TR at the Ferrari dealer and I was comprehensively ripped off. I know what I am doing and they pulled this crap. Most Ferrari owners I know pride themselves in barely knowing where the gas goes. I can't imagine what they do to them.

As far as 360s go, the belts are a cake walk, and nobody in their right mind would do them without accessing them from behind the seats. Those nets behind the seats MUST come off, so your stuff would have to be moved.

I would bet that you got charged for zero work. Why the car was running bad, I don't know.

Care to provide any details that may benefit the group?

Hopefully this just isn't another guy that comes here to vent/solve a problem and take off with no resolve, never to be seen or heard from again.

No other participation on this forum other than this thread. I imagine this thread may have been a bargaining ploy on the basis of the OP, threatening to out the repair shop if they didn't make him whole. It appears that he has been made whole, and ended the matter. Certainly does not seem like one who has interest in participating in the community.

Although I like this forum and car forums in general can be helpful especially to DIYers like me its interesting and sad the way people never cease to either spout useless stuff when they havent a clue and or do posts like this one of dubious intent/veracity
