Gp- 30-40% attrition?
Assuming the road worthy units have insurance— I suspect the data exists in a multi carrier ins database. And also dmv records.’ I’m not smart enough to beyond this thought -/)
Euro 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena 6-Speed https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-ferrari-360-modena-12/ Another strong price. Extremely low mileage, would probably have brought a higher price, however, there seem to be questions about the conversion and whether it could be registered in all states.
That is all the money in the world for a car that can’t be registered in California. Love the color combo though.
An 8k-mile, red/tan, 2003 gated Modena on Bring a Trailer should set the 2019 benchmark for low mileage cars. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-ferrari-360-modena-8/ This appears to be a perfect low mileage car with no stories, issues, etc. The thing that is really amazing to me is the amount of orange peal in photo #32. I have been looking at the photos pretty closely to get a sense of what the car looked like new. Based on previous sales, I would expect this to end well over $100k. Several earlier higher mileage cars sold at some surprisingly high prices.
Red, tan, red calipers, shields, Daytona seats. Perfect spec and exactly like my 456M. Should be revealing as to the upper end value for these cars at this time.
SOLD - $119,000 + fees. Setting the benchmark for the year Image Unavailable, Please Login the euro conversion definitely suffered Image Unavailable, Please Login A really great price for a "high mileage" car with 36,500 miles. That works out to about $.80/mile! A few years back it seemed to be closer to $2/mile. Image Unavailable, Please Login I think these are great results for those that already own a 360 Modena!
Another gated manual coup on BaT. This time a red/tan 20k miles This was what I always thought was the perfect combo with the black carpet (because mine has tan carpet). I would have to try it out! I might lean towards the tan carpet now... Tan definitely shows dirt much worse than black, but it seems to look a little dark with black carpet. I have no relation to this sale, just spectating. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2004-ferrari-360-modena-7/
That is a very nice car and it comes with a lot of the original property. Already up to $92K with a day to go. So probably a good benchmark for red and tan drivers with similar mileage. I have tan seats and carpets, and they show both dirt and wear more than black would, but black seats would be suicidal in San Antonio, so maybe just the carpet. I'm restoring the interior eventually, so I might try it then.
I hadn't been in this thread for a while but that rule doesn't apply in CA. CA all gray market cars must be individually tested and certified to be registered. That is why there aren't many euros in CA.
Interesting comparing this trio in terms of prices, mileage, options, condition, service records, ownership, etc. I might have missed something in all the photos but also interesting to see none of them seemed to have any dash bubbling issues, leather wear around the seat entry points, and all had factory exhaust mufflers. I would never consider a Euro spec car (especially living in CA, as I do) and can certainly understand why it didn't fetch a higher price. The other two seem like excellent examples. I, too, would have expected the 2003 to bring a higher price given its mileage and options. Given the fact I paid $125k for mine in November of 2015 when much of the peak pricing occurred, it's good to see prices are climbing back a bit, but these wonderful three-pedals still seem undervalued to me. I always feel this model is without equal as a bridge between the "old Ferrari world" and the "new Ferrari world", combining the best of both eras. By the way, has anyone commented on this Modena? https://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listing/2000/ferrari/360--modena/1896363
That darn car has been for sale for 4 years! I stopped keeping track of it because it moves around so much! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, haven't visited this thread for awhile. Surprised it's not in your garage, Kevin! How about this one? https://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listing/2000/ferrari/360--modena/2062486
