Would never happen and is not in Rossi's best interests either now that he has carved out a career for himself in indycar but I wish he got a chance in a top tier F! car. Would be good to have a competent American on the grid

The way Alonso acted out regarding the Honda engines I wouldn't want him in any team trying to catch up. Apparently Toyota decided the functional parts of the team were more important than the driver who had trouble getting along.

As for who should replace Vettel? My opinion is that Ferrari should position LeClerc as their #1 driver and promote someone from their driver academy as #2. And then focus on building a team again rather than worry too much about finding an excellent driver. The last thing they need now, in any position within the team, is someone with an oversized ego.

Vettel stays. Take it to the bank (literally). He's not going to walk away from such a mega contract.

+1 Vettel has always stated his love for Ferrari and wants a title with them. He'll not easily part ways, even if he gets offered a load of cash and a better car elsewhere.

Well, Leclerc is a good pupil. He learned quit fast to **** up himself. Right at the moment I do not see him as anyone who can lead that team as No.1
He has talent just as Seb has/had but that is not enough

Sorry peter but i don't see any ****ups from charles, none...
baku? not his fault, Monaco, not his fault, germany, yes, a mistake, but the ones who didn't were just lucky, even Max lost the car, he was just lucky it was in a good place. Without ferrari interference he would be ahed of Seb, so, i say Charles is more than ready to lead Ferrari. He's faster than seb and less error prone, of course he still has much to learn, regarding tyres and other stuff, but he's a quick learner, more so than max, and nex year, both of them will be clearly the 2 best drivers in the f.1 grid.

Isn't it interesting that while praising old merits all of the sudden loyalty is equalled to stupidity?

right? Vettel concluded one of his goals 4x over already: Become world champion.

World Champion for Ferrari is the only one that'll satisfy him.

Give him the car and he'll do it.

I guess Bas, but Australia he almost took Charles out at the start and made him lose some places..canada also 0proved costly, even if it was obviously a farse.....all in all i would say Bahrain was the most serious error from Seb

If Binotto had any sense, he would nominate Leclerc as Number One, arrange a dignified exit for Vettel and recruit a talented F2 driver to rebuild the team whilst the engineers at Ferrari work on a better car. Right now Ferrari don't need a fading star, but should groom future talents instead, whilst they sort out their technical side.
Leclerc seems to be a quick learner, and he is fast too, with good racecraft, IMO. He is also calm and apparently gives good feedback.

Not sure, if Ferrari makes a decent car and operates at merc/red bull levell he can do it, in those conditions he's still one of the very best.

if he gets a decent car he would.

Whether Ferrari can deliver that car is another discussion entirely. I don't think they can.
