This annoys me the like crazy. I will park the away from anyone else only to find some fool parked right next to me.

One can argue they wanted to park under the shade....

There is more shade to park in way over on the other side.

I've had happen occasionally but it's someone with a nice car. They figure you're certainly not going to hit their door and they certainly aren't going to hit yours. I think the same way with my DD.

I'm all for Nice Cars to park next to other Nice cars. It's a car guy's way of saying, "I'm looking out for you".

My wife called me and asked my to go to the mall to pick something up. Didn’t want to as I had the Mondial.
I parked as far away as possible, straight not crooked.
Ran in to get the package and as I was walking out, I saw a guy standing next to the drivers door waving his hands around. Getting closer I heard him talking to someone. I figured he was using a Bluetooth headset.
Nope. He was actually talking to his kid, who he placed in my seat. And little sparky was grabbing at the gearshift knob and moving the steering wheel back and forth while sitting in the seat.
    I was flabbergasted!
I asked the guy, calmly, what was going on..... His response was “What, is this your car”
“My kid loves cars”. He then removed little Sparky and made off as if I was a jerk.

    True story....

Last week I parked the 458 about a million miles from the entrance to the supermarket and when I came out there was a GT3 parked right next to me. I couldn’t get mad because it was a beautiful car.

Geez Ron, couldn't you at least have given him the keys so he could give little Sparky a spin around the lot? :D

This thread cracks me up ... yesterday I ran into the supermarket for 5 minutes, parked way out beyond the other cars (mostly to avoid stray carts), came back to an old gigantic white boat of an Oldsmobile Delta 88 parked close to my passenger side, beautifully enhanced with white duct tape holding the trim on the wheel wells, rust, primer, split seats, sagging headliner. No dings.

This is probably what it's like for random supermodels sitting by themselves with an empty seat next to them at the bar ; )
