I did 150 today. A Porsche GT3 was next to me, may have helped me move along.. Anyway faster than I care to go these days, quite fun. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
You would have got to 160 if you bought my exhaust lol The straightaway at roebling road track is 3200ft, and i want to say I hit 135 ish. the straightaway and the FIRM is a bit shorter, maybe around 120mph. Im too old to try that on a road anymore lol
280 km/h (GPS), around 174 mph. From Switzerland to my wifes family in Germany, the most part of the way is at the german Autobahn, without any speed limit.
150 between Madison and Jefferson Wisconsin backed off just in time was an awesome ride. too old for that ride again LOL.
I managed 155 in my 355 on two lane freeway outside Green Bay. The top frame lifted from the windshield frame and you could feel a breeze coming in between the two. Then fear set in about pot holes, deer, blown tire, etc and I backed off. It was fun....but never again unless I am on a track. Not a freaking cop in sight thank God!!!!!
I nearly maxed out 4th gear in our Spider, for whatever that's worth. Speedo sensor was on the flitz, so I was going 'zero'. I'm sure that excuse would have flown with the State Police...
170 by the speedo in my 97 355 Spider but the speedo showed 5mph high all through the range so I’m calling it 165 on a deserted rural highway. Oddly I’ve never broken the speed limit in my 348.
I pinned one along time ago..5th gear and let her go with my foot to the floor. Shifted to 6, but the speed fell off..so I dont really know the speed..150-160 perhaps? Car felt pretty damn solid..unlike the 360 which got scary light at 140 so I backed off..did not like that at all. Best speed was 180 in a diablo. Fun times..never again..
the car takes so long to get over 110 I dont even want to venture beyond that. I assume you need to be traveling over 100 for 1 mile before you get 10mph within the top speed so I never bothered. Lol
got a tick under 175 before I had to brake for turn 12 at Road Atlanta a few years ago on track day with the SCCA.. JD
I dont find the 355 "takes so long", or "that slow" to get over 110 mph. It gets there and over quite swiftly imo. Absolutely love this video of the 355 nearing.its top end
Agreed that part. I will get mine setup for track in the near future since the challenge is really what this is all about.
Slow is relative when this day in age a bmw x5 6 cylinder was keeping up with me to 110 only 2 car lengths behind. ♂️ It does take long to today's standards. I dont see the point in trying to take it up there when the enjoyment of having this car is no longer about feeling you're in the fastest 20% cars out there. This day in age the 355's power is just barely above average. My friend says his sc range rover weighing 6000 pounds will give me a run if not even humiliate the 355 up to 130
Did 135 the other day. Does anyone find the front end gets very light north of 120? It was very windy and I’ve read the front end might need lowering from stock. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Got into triple digits the other day with the targa off- I have tracked for a few years, that is where I like to go fast, I really dont enjoy top speed pulls anywhere else
130ish is the fastest I have been in mine. Not the fastest cars but, they sound amazing and look even better. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
