    Hi,

    I have a question that relates to the air control panel in the Maserati Indy 4700. I have attached a photo of the panel that is in my vehicle and to be honest find it very difficult to work out which knobs relate to what from my Owners Manual as the writing and lines nominating each knob is so small. I wonder if anyone would be so kind as to confirm the following for me please:

    • The switch (top left) I believe controls the choke
      • In the current position (to the right and under the small yellow dot) indicates that the Choke is in the “Off” position

    • The Switch (bottom left) controls heating to the vehicle
      • In the current position (to the right and under the small red dot) indicates the heater is in the “Off” position

    • The Switch (top right) controls External air circulation
      • In the current position (to the right) and towards the fan (?) symbol it is closed ??

    • The Switch (bottom right) controls Incoming Air
      • In the current position (to the right) it is closed ?.

    What should be the set up for cooling in the vehicle ?

    Thanks for any help you are able to offer
    Glen

    The restoration of my car was just completed.
    It took about 2.5 years to carry it out and it costed about 21.000 Euros.

    One full year was necessary to source a windscreen to replace the original one that was unfortunately broken during the reassembly process after painting (apparently a bad bedding of the glass or small metal debris remaining in the metallic frame). Paid by the shop, of course.

    Other issues, apart from a full service (fluids, belts, filters, hoses, spark plugs and coil, distrib) included:
    - reconditioning of the LHM spheres (that had been done by the seller as part of the deal);
    - full reconditioning of the Weber set;
    - recoring the cooling rad and the A/C rad;
    - sourcing a Jaguar limited slip diff to replace the original Maserati diff (ovalisation of the assembly holes between the crown and pinion);
    - replacing the two original fuel pumps by two electronic Facet pumps and protecting the circuit by relays;
    - repairing the electrical motors of the headlamps covers;
    - limited body welding to repair some corroded areas and a full repaint in its original rosso cordoba colour.

    The car is now back home and enjoyable on the road!
    It's number 2054, one of the last 4900 LHM, original engine, EU specs.
