Getting impatient to get '79 308 back

    Over the last several years, just about everything has been replaced or upgraded, window gaskets and channels, single dizzy electronic ignition, suspension bushings, shocks, steering, interior, complete brake system overhaul, power booster.master cylinder, rotors, calipers, everything. Some of which i did, some was farmed out. After 85K miles, the car needed some TLC.

    This time the car will come back in several weeks with newly rebuilt gearbox and 3.6L motor based on a 360 crank in a re-sleeved block, real cams, etc.

    Should be new world driving it and i won't be getting beat off the line by school buses and garbage trucks anymore.:D

    Only thing left to do mechanically will be a modern aluminum AC compressor to replace that york unit, and rehang the blower motors.
