You can learn a lot about the car by reading an owner's manual. But yes, the top is fully manual. And be careful about the rear quarter windows.
Where does one find an owners manual? I've looked far and wide to find one Sent from my SM-G955U using FerrariChat.com mobile app

You will need some special screws for the pivot points on the roof frame- not available from ferrari these days
CAB roof screws: Try Paulchua or Mike 32. Mike made a few screws for the CAB not too long ago. I believe there are two different length screws. Not sure which a d how many you need. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I'm looking for a picture of one now I do have a machine shop nearby caves made tons of stuff for me in the past maybe have him build something out of aluminum? Sent from my SM-G955U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Use steel as the alloy ones will wear through in no time- there are plenty of spares about as i made a stack and people were stock piling “ nice to have”
Any chance you have a OEM design? I'd love to have a prototype to work off of. I'll have a bunch made up with so I'll have some spares for whoever needs them Sent from my SM-G955U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Paulchua sent me the original drawing, not sure i still have it. I made about 10 short and 10 long so there are lots around not used. They are labour intensive so dont expect to get them made cheaply.
Are the bolts missing on both sides of the top frame? If not, perhaps you could remove the bolts from the other side and have a drawing made of them? That's too bad about your rear seats. However, check out Redbaycars.com . I believe that they have a set of rear seats in nice condition for sale at a reasonable price. They may have top frame parts as well... Congrats again on the project! Good to see that the car is in the hands of someone that will appreciate it and bring it back. 2cam
Thanks @syata unfortunately, I distributed all of the ones Mike made already. Best to reach out to @mike32 he made a small batch to help out the community.
Hello @Woodstocksparky Check out this thread, be sure to go through the whole thread as the dimensions are spelled out in different posts. Hope this helps.
Nice car, you did well. I had a far less than stellar experience with Auto Elite and started a thread about it. The main takeaways were that I advised Vinny that I wanted a water pump as part of the major and he told me I didn't need it. Less than two years after the major I had a water pump leak and badly leaking cam seals that required another major. At that time, the date code of the belt that was removed was from 2004. That would have made the belt used in 2014 10 years old, if the belt was changed at all. When I picked up the car from the $11k + major, inclusive of other incidentals and a clutch, the check engine lights were on. I was advised to "drive it" and they would go away.... I learned so much from this experience and all I can say to you is buyer beware. He has a good reputation and has been around for a long time, so maybe I just had some super ****ty luck.
Oh and the other biggie were the over torqued fuel lines emitting a strong fuel smell because they were cracked...Replaced those as well with the second major at $750 each.
The other Mondial is for sale if anyone is interested. Price is $15,000.00 Miles 44k Sitting for 8 years That's all I the information available we don't have any service records. Taking the engine out is a lot of work. These cars have neat access panels, so you can work on the engine in place. I would leave the engine in, and replace the belts and idlers. Before you turn the engine over by hand, pull the plugs and squirt some oil into each cylinder. The plugs need to be put back in to tension the belts. You likely won't need to shim the valves with that low mileage. It would also be a good idea to drain the fuel tank. Fuel varnish wreaks havoc on the K-Jetronic. Luckily we have Techron.
