    Just an update... My car is running perfectly after replacing one of the faulty ECU. It was a quick plug and play repair.

    it is interesting that when I was using your failed ECU together with my own good ECU on the other side, the car starts fine and won't stall.

    granted, my ECU's software is different than yours and my car is a Euro version car.

    When they get to a failed state its internal voltage regulation collapses. Its only a matter of time before it gets worse. I wouldn't recommend using one which is failing as it can cascade into other expensive faults. The reason why it appears to work in some cases is less voltage is required on left than right due to less sensors connected. It will however deteriorate pretty darn fast from that point. When the ticking throttle body starts there is no other recommended path than to replace the faulty ecu.
