Seems like a no brainer to me!
They’re all basically the same engine just different induction.

    Funny you should say that.
Last time I checked a 308/328 wasn't a car for a "proper enthusiast”, so WTF do you care?

'Course it's proper,it started it's life as a carby,3 pedal, unmolested piece of automotive architecture.....unfortunately the USA started demanding the Ferrari be designed for their sorry asses and we ended up with the 328.

.....and yep I've had a coupla shirazes.

Since owning a really sorted mechanically 308 my impression of the typo has changed BUT there aint nothin' like a FEV12OHOS at full noize.......and until you or any other naysayer or someone who hasn't experienced one chips in,then you have nothing.

This car is 1979 steel GTB with a colour change, it wasn't originally red. The price is similar to the steel GTB for sale in Perth ( 195K)
The other GTB for sale on Carsales ( 210K ) is a steel UK car with dry sump engine.

Cheers M thanks for the knowledge now I’m curious what lovely factory 70s colour that particular car was the seats look a bit tatty but I guess there’s no harm in a bit of patina,

Asking price. Going back to Adelaide (where it was orginally delivered). Buyer has been looking at GT4's for a while, its what he wanted and worked out that the GT4's for sale at 100K would need a 200K + resto & a couple of years to bring them in to comparable condition to this car. (Its a really, really nice GT4 ). I'd be proud to have it, except I already have one :)

yes, the blue carpet is the giveaway.

308's suffered more than most from the "resale red" mania.

I manually bleed the radiator every now and then - only a little air comes out. I fiddled about with a few bleeder ideas, then lost interest

I'm more keen to make sure there's no air trapped in the thermostat housing, actually

Yeah - I manually bled that once, dropped the copper washer and spent a hour with a borescope looking for it. I think Superformance make a bolt with a bleed hole in it, but, again, I lost interest
