It does look better but still almost like a EB110 was combined with a Alfa 4C. These cars look stubby and not sleek enough. I am not a fan of any Bugatti past the EB110, they are all ugly IMO.
That's not to say the old ones were all pretty either, plenty of T57's that look terrible, especially some of the customer special bodies.

Yes, the renderings at the start of the video looked so sleek, but the actual car came out a bit stubby. Looks like the designers needed to either extend the wheelbase or lower the greenhouse, or both, to avoid stubby.

The EB110 is such a better design. That this is a homage to the EB110 is ridiculous, IMO. Slapping a flat panel with holes in it over the rear quarter glass doesn't help it's look or relate it, in a positive way, to the EB110.

That said, I do prefer this to anything else they have done. Much more "sports car" and less "motorized insect"

I think the mid engine Corvette early concept looked best with the side scoop angled back(4th picture). Almost like a cleaned up and better 488 scoop. The final scoop sticking forward and out does not look balanced, almost an afterthought.

Saw the C8 in person yesterday. Its quite nice. I can nitpick certain parts like the side intake, which I still dont like and there are some protruding winglets on the front that really annoy me in person, but its a good looking car. It has 80% of the presence of a ferrari or a mcclaren but it does not have anywhere near the presence of a lambo.

1st and 3rd would have been very interesting ideas to develop further, even if 1st one looks 488-ish.

They interview Giugiario in this Amazon movie about some of the heroes of Italy’s golden age of automotive design. Good for a rainy afternoon:

The entire movie was weird in the set design. Nemo loved electricity, so a huge gas car wouldn't be at all his style. The movie was pretty lame, actually, but it looked steampunk cool!
