Well, I thought it was last weekend (‘cause I can’t remember to look at a calendar, apparently) and I was the only one there . Unfortunately can’t make it this weekend- I’ll see you guys in September.

Well it’s 1:30 and I just saw this. Is this a regular event and where does everyone meet?

 

The actual name of the complex, somewhat illogically, is The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, which is the way you should Google it. The meeting area is at the bottom of Bolling Way, between American Cut and Shake Shack. And remember, it is always the LAST Saturday of the month, which this time just happened to be the 31st. (Bolling Way passes on either side of Le Bilboquet restaurant.)

 

Yes, Shops of Buckhead on the side street in front of Shake Shack off Peachtree St.

10a-12p ish last Saturday of each month.

Depending on weather, 12-25 F cars show up each month.

 

We had about a dozen Ferraris, not quite as many as usual, along with a surprise: Will Campbell showed up with a delightful '61 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce, which received more comment than all the Ferraris combined!

For those who want to watch the Belgian GP tomorrow, some of us gather at 9 AM at the Fado Irish Pub around the corner on Buckhead Avenue. Parking meters are free on Sunday.

 

Here is a link to a map of the complex. We meet on the short horizontal section of street in the lower left corner; you need to enter off of Buckhead Ave. Also, for Sunday, see Fado in the lower right.

Not quite fully correct; the traffic goes counterclockwise around the restaurant, so you have to turn right before reaching it; the roadway below and to the right of the restaurant is for northbound traffic only.

I just got back from this morning. I was the newbie with the red with silver stripes F430. What a great group. Really friendly group. Nice to have met some of you. I’ll miss the next one as I’ll be out of town but hope to see you all in November if there’s another meetup. Not sure how you all do it around the holidays.
