I still have some work to improve my 2'55s lap time - I will try on the Ferrari Passione event mis September if it doesn't rain
Sky saying temps will be lower Sunday, thus making tyre behaviour different than today. This will affect everyone but not sure who will gain/lose the most. Also Mercedes long run times were better today than Ferrari, but again temps will have a role in this. Ferrari may have top speed advantage, but if Merc have overall better lap pace, maybe DRS comes into play. We shall see....
Tomorrow last summer day...but Sunday cold and rain as autumn arrives harshly: totally different ballgame.
I've already written an angry letter to my local newspaper in protest. If you get a phone call from the Bloom Picayune, now you'll know why. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That solar cycle crap is for the birds. Literally. Spring is March through May, summer is June through August, fall is September through November, and winter is December through February. In the world that humans inhabit, anyway.
Spa and monza are my favourite tracks. I know this was only Fri practice but Ferrari did look mighty. Here's hoping all goes well and we can finally get a win (famous last words)
There's nothing wrong with a bit of optimism! I agree with your opinion of Spa and Monza. I look forward to them all season. The problem is, it's bittersweet when they are over and they leave Europe.
Very true , I am curious as to why the family hasn’t bought a team yet , maybe in the works . Kid has more talent than Stroll
Latifi is looking ok since Russell,Albon and Norris moved on. I doubt he will do any better than Stroll ,maybe even worse.
Perhaps I was not clear, I was not referring to calendar change of seasons but to the forecast of a major turn in the weather. Yesterday the forecast for tomorrow was rain, now it no longer announces rain but then that region is known to have very variable weather often rain on one part of the circuit only. What is certain is that tomorrow will be much colder, 26 celsius this afternoon 15 tomorrow, the question is how that will affect each car's competitiveness. https://www.yr.no/place/Belgium/Wallonia/Francorchamps/ In terms of weather patterns early September in mainland Europe does see a strong reduction in temps: where I am (Burgundy, France) it is coming early: 30 and sunny today 18 and rain tomorrow... Hopefully Charles and Seb will not suffer from the colder temps tomorrow...
As with yesterday and FP 2, ESPNU has Qualifying, so I'll have to follow the thread for that, as I don't feel like adding a channel I only want a couple of times a year!
