Thanks for the info. Don’t suppose they provided any further details about the sound/GPF, or how they plan to make it still sound good...? Having seen videos of other F cars with GPF fitted (eg SF90) I am sceptical it would sound as good... but hope I’m wrong!
What is the roof mechanism like? Does it have the flat back glass like 458/488 Spider...or sloped like Cali/Portofino?
How much similarities does it have with the 812 Coupe ? Are they mentioning how long it'll be in production ? Are the wheels different that the coupe version ?
They had stickers over the name at the presentation but if I were to guess I would say 812GTS The main launch car was in a new metallic silver Color which is named after the car with a brown leather interior - looked really classy Car was overall exactly what you would expect although there are a few differences to the coupe - especially at the back They also had one in red - but don’t think it’s a great color for the car Overall looked great imo
I asked this earlier, and apparently that will be released in a week for the press. I don't think it will be GTS thought, especially when Wheels1 says it's not a normal Spider name. If anything, I suppose the F8 Spider could be called F8 GTS. Speak of the devil. What was the other car there? Aren't there supposed to be two models shown?
Wouldn't it be an idea to merge this thread with the other 812 Spider thread? Same topic, same questions etc.
GTS is more of a regular production car since this is limited in some ways I suspect a more unique name
God I hope not... 812 TRC? There was a racecar based on the 500 Superfast called the 500 TRC and that was open top
With hundreds of posts, is it possible? My guess is a new topic/thread gets started with a new model name when it actually is announced, as it should be.
500TRC was 1957 500Superfast started production in 1964 Racecar could not have been based on a car that came after.
