Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere and please correct any mistakes I may be about to make.

All over the internet (including Ferrari Chat) #99893 is mentioned as being the last F40 made. The car is said to be an LM (which I think it is not) or a competition conversion and is said to have gone to the USA. However, I can find no evidence of this cars existence.

I think the last "stradale" F40 is ZFFGJ34B000095317 and this was followed by 6 LMs: #14 (95448), #15 (95449), #16 (97881), #18 (97893), #19 (97904) and #20 (99401). If 99893 is an F40 it is therefore a lot of numbers after the last road car, and does not really follow on from the last LM.

Can anyone provide evidence that 99893 is an F40?

If it is an F40 then what is it, where is it and is there any known history?

    Thank you.

    99893 is NOT an F40. It is a 456 GT of 1994.
    Owner is Michael M.C.
    Dealer is Auto Italia Ltd.
