    Hello everyone,

I think it is the first time I publish something here after many years of registration and I think it is the ideal place to carry out the project I have in mind.

I want to locate the Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Pininfarina Series II #1863GT, this car was the first Ferrari to reach the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands - Spain) but not the first to enroll.

The story I have is as follows:

The car arrived from Genoa, sold by Giuliano Giuseppina, to the island in 1967, K.A buys it, this car was built in the spring of 1960 and was number 27 of the 202 built of the series II #1863GT, later it was owned by a military man and two businessmen selling abroad.

I missed the trail in 2007 at the Monterey auction

    Does anyone have more data?

Photo #2 in your post #2 does not show 1863 GT but actually 1833 GT.
Here's a photo showing the additional notice of RM Auctions taken in Monterey 2007, stating "Please note that the Serial no. is 1833 GT".

1863 GT was sold new in Milan, Italy, to a famous Italian Publisher. It lives in Switzerland since many years and is painted metallic silvergrey.

ups! We have been "deceived" for several years thinking that this unit is the same.

What is true that when it was sold from the island was for Switzerland, so your information is correct.

Do you have any more information, a photograph with the current color or something?

My idea is to locate its current owner and travel to see it, it was the first Ferrari to arrive in the Canary Islands and it is the beginning of the "Ferrari history" in the islands.

I would like to put the license plates he was wearing when he was here and photograph it.

It's difficult but not impossible :)

In order not to open a new topic on the same topic ...

Does anyone have information on this unit?

I would like to know in what year arrived in Switzerland from Spain.

Was its first owner from Genoa?

    See post #3.
    Milan, not Genoa.

I understand then that its second owner was from Genoa, the car arrived in Spain with Genoa plates.

Is that famous Italian editor G.M.?

Is the original color of the car Grigio Conchiglia?

I see that a lot of people read but nobody says / knows anything :(

so could you tell me the name of its original color? Please.

I have 2 photographs that you sent me of this unit.

It looks like a "mouse gray" color.

I am still very interested in the information on this unit, does anyone know about it?

I simply want to know in what year it arrived in Switzerland (I think 1978/1979) and if since it arrived in Switzerland it has always had the same owner.
