For the normal range, exept this last...hummm Depends on what you like, hybrid turbo or not . In a way , Puro Sangre will be a puro sangre...and if V 12 has never been the most important sales by the past, it could probably change...
Each to their own and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I felt the conversion looked an afterthought and compromised by the need to use the 488 roof mechanism . There are some good angles, from behind for example, but sat in the cabin you have the buttress over your shoulder, almost into the cabin and a very high straight wall behind you, up to eye height. So inside the car, it feels anything but like a convertible and with the roof up very claustrophobic . The car is very rear heavy in terms of design. It needed a flat rear deck to take bulk out, probably as a soft top too . I had hoped for a stunning rendition of a V12 convertible, but for me it is simply OK . Reminds me a lot of the 575 SA , its ok but not quite right. Others have said they love it so it is down to individuals . Huge missed opportunity for me, but they will undoubtedly sell out . Cannot comment on the sound/noise as the music was very loud when they were driven in. The F8 Tribute spider was a very cohesive design by comparison.
812 spider is really beautiful. Just saw today. Compared to V8 spider it loses less when it’s close. The only detail that I don’t like is the little fake window on the side. I appreciate as well the wheel design. OT: SF90 stradale looked better from real, especially with Fiorano packages. Just the front is not convincing me 100%.
Agree. Darker sades of Blu, especially Blu America and Blu Profondo. Otherwise the easy path, Nero Daytona with the painted SF shields. They could however have omitted the blacked-out "windows" and make look closer to the 575 SA.
Agreed. In previous years Ferrari cars made me dream, 599 gto, 458 / speciale, the mighty F12 and tdf... none of the new cars have that soul
For those of you who saw the car, will you take it over the 812 coupe? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
The engine was turned on for a brief moment when most people left - sounded great as usual. The head of engineering is very confident that the sound will be the same in the new era of GPF
As the car we are talking about is probably not a normal range model and no Icona model, what can we expect it to be like? A kind of “regular special edition”? As you indicated that V12s might become more important in terms of sales it is likely not ultra-limited.
Guess it will replace the front mid engine V12 regular range. Back to pre-550 maranello era. Logical if you consider a 800hp front engine car as the exploitable limit.
The anticipation, participation and general demand buzz around the launch of a *regular production* front V12 convertible indicates you've misread that.
That would be the most logical thing to me too. However “day355” stated the normal range won’t be that great anymore. A mid-engine V12 would definitely be a great car. That’s why I tried to figure out where else it could fit into..
Lamborghini Sian - has some very interesting hybrid tech with the super capacitor - maybe something similar
Thanks! Let me just ask one last question. Is it going to be only one model and after it is finished or the start of a new line?
