since I visit Illinois so infrequently, and reacquainting myself with the Countach is always sweet, I am going to head to the show in Springfield on Saturday.
The last show I went to which was fillled with muscle cars, pickup trucks, and, and , and TRACTORS was a total bust. Albeit, rural. Don’t get me wrong I love a good tractor, Lamborghini started that way.
    I like muscle are and
Pick ups too. But the Countach feels at home with other Europeans.
    I am going to

well I really don't mean to laugh, but when people get to see such a car up close and have never been around any exotics it is great that they are engaged and are willing to ask the questions, bad or not.

    I totally agree
Lots of old car guys masking questions
    It was very nice
Not pretentious pricks shoving bs about how much they have

My buddy sent me a picture of your Lambo and this GT.

I haven’t seen this GT around Springfield before, do you know if it is local? I know there is one in this combo in Decatur.

I didn’t get any pictures of Mike’s cars, which one did he bring?

That’s a bummer, but he should bring some toys to the Route 66 show at the end of the month—will you be attending that show?

There are 7 GTs in Springfield, but I have yet to see that one...saw a brand new one in Chicago today.

It won’t let me post a picture of your car, because it was a screenshot of a Snapchat—it is a nice car though. I hope to see it in person sometime; yours is number 3 in Springfield, I believe.

You will have to reconfigure the photo to jpeg to post

Unfortunately I go back to the other home and work a week before. Bad planning on my part

You are correct on the count of Countach’s in the area.
    Might be one more.
I think a countach cruze is in order

    Nice meeting Topcarbon as well.

The Ford GT is from Monmouth if I remember correctly. He said it had over 20,000 miles and he drove over an hour to get here. I tried to talk to him into bringing it to Route 66. Not sure if he will or not.

The 70 Challenger is owned by a long time friend of mine, Bill S. Back in the late 70's he had a Challenger TA with a 340 6 pack.
He just completed a new paint job and an upgraded suspension on his current Challenger.

Local Countach's that I know of
    Topcarbon
Rick B. (I think it has under 1,000 miles and I don't think he drives it) I can get his number
John H. (I think he still has a white Anniversary and an Aventador). I have his number
Me. (1985 4 valve DD). I have my number
A red one in St Loius I have his number

It would be neat to get them all together

    20,000 mile GT—good for him!

Is the gentleman with the Anniversary Countach and Aventador local?!

It’s amazing how many hidden exotics are in Springfield/Central IL.

Mike—what are you planning on bringing to the Route 66 show?
