LH44 was NOT in an inferior car. He got beat fair and square today. A very exiting race since the top 3 could have won it today. :)

When Leclerc crossed the finish line today, the one correct, true, and eternal result was achieved. And for that moment, all was right with the universe: Ferrari wins at Monza!

You haven’t sent one to me, which I presume is what you meant. That’s strange, or was it to the mods to complain that Anthony Davidson is spreading rumour that Elton is not the best ever, and you want them to ban him? Good luck with that, such a shame even the biased sky team don’t actually agree with the Elton fan club that reside here.

This is one race I will never forget! I have been a Ferrari fan since I discovered Formula-1 as a young child, nearly my entire life. I watched this race from the bar of the V8 hotel. It is located in MotorWorld which is also where the Michael Schumacher Private Collection is at.

    Great job Charles and Ferrari!

I'm not sure about Brundle being on the grid. I swear he said he tried to bait Lewis about Charles "push" but Ham didn't fall for it.

I wouldn’t say either Merc or F had the superior or inferior car today. They were just about evenly matched. As such, without an advantage, tie goes to the lead, as it’s pretty hard to pass an equal car, with a skilled and motivated driver.

Fun race today. Sorry to see the collapse of some drivers.
Interesting to see Renault strong again, even though that wasnt the story of the day.

Weird coverage by Sky. very homer-ish. Would’ve been nice to hear a driver during the race other than LH...Vettel for example I’m sure would have been a better sound bite.

    Wow, what a race.

Disastrous for Vettel, but Leclerc was awesome. Feels like a changing of the guard.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

You can tell this one stung LH. He was having a hard time being magnanimous to Leclerc.

I wonder how many people remember the smartarse comment from Louise at Monza last year (?) when he intimated that Merc power was superior to Ferrari power ???

He who laughs last ...... :p

Crybaby Elton (trying to catch LeClerc on the straight : " I need more power!!" :p :p

I don’t have a problem if stewards feel obligated to look at every situation where a driver goes off the track.
It’s their job, they’re paid to do it, it’s not an insult, just as long as they make consistent decisions.

They did their job by issuing Charles a warning flag. Apparently, they also got on "the phone" to the Ferrari pit wall as they then radioed Charles to not repeat certain moves. All of those things being better than penalties. So yeah, they did their job properly as in NOT overdoing their job.

So, does anyone know/believe if Vettel and stroll had side visibility to see cars coming at them from a perpendicular angle?
I know vision is limited through a helmet, not to mention with a HAN device....can anyone corroborate this?
I’d like to think their engineers could advise them remotely if it’s safe to proceed, but they may not have eyes on it either, or camera delay.

It was such a weird pair of accidents...while appearing careless or even intentional, it serves no benefit to “pull out like an idiot” in either circumstance.

The issue is if they DO NOT have visibility they are NOT supposed to go across the track. Either their spotters can tell them or the track officials.

Both were correctly penalized. It could have been much worse.

Yes. Either of them could have very easily been victims of T-bone accident.

I believe it was Brundle that said you have limited vision because the helmet and HANS device prevents your neck from turning.
