I’m in. This is what I have so far- white. But, really considering that ceramic grey. Love the pictures of the two tone blue interior, but would prefer to see it in real life first. Don’t want all the extra crap that comes with 3Lt that is required to get that interior either. Would pull brake calipers and paint them blue. Image Unavailable, Please Login

It still looks white to me. Here is blade silver, ceramic grey, and white in one photo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are there any reports of how the car drives? Sure it looks good and is very fast but in my opinion there is more to it than just looks and speed.
I've already decided to get a C8 instead of a 612 or an FF. Love my 360 sunroof/stick, but I've spent $10K per year for the past seven years restoring three Ferraris already. Want something less intense on the cost of ownership side, and more reliable for the long trips I like to take. Going to sell the 308, probably at a huge loss, to get one. I definitely want the Ceramic Matrix Gray. It's nearly just off-white, but very classy looking. No rear spoiler/no performance packages, this is just s touring car for me. Sold the Orange C7 and put a deposit on a C8. Orange LT1, gray interior, performance exhaust, front lift. Plan to keep the 430. #7 on the list of a major CA corvette dealership. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I believe the black trim "fools" the eye to telling the mind that the car is whiter than it really is.
Given your criteria for a color in AZ that won't gain so much heat, the dust, common silver color in LV, and the red interior, the ceramic grey seems to fit all the criteria. The lighting conditions definitely contribute to the confusion of what the color really is. Two photos for comparison that show differences: first from jm2 and then one off the internet. Your comment about the blade silver looking "cartoonish" is well taken on the top example, but remember the samples are small and the curves on the models are quite sharp, and hence, reflective. Yes. Before I order it (and I have months before that happens) I plan to try to see as many in person as C7's as possible before making a decision. And when I see how the convertible actually looks that may also change my mind.
I am surprised how amped up I am for this new corvette. I can’t wait to see the actual pricing in a week. I have no idea what color to get, although I am partial to metallic colors. Since I am in Florida, I will probably get a non-black interior. I already have a silver/red Z06, so I do not want to get the same C8. I'm waiting to see the Convertible in person and hear about the way it drives/rides. If it feels good then I'll put my 25K miles Jaguar XKR up for sale. Pictures look good but gotta see it in person.
C8 Dealer Tour date list by state They won't have the convertible, but.... I believe they update Post #1 as new info/dates come in. Where they appear is up to the individual dealers (they pay $16,000) NOT Chevy or GM. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c8-general-discussion/4301324-c8-dealer-tour-date-list-by-state.html .
Interesting Chevy dealer advertisement from Florida today. $500 deposits! Wonder if the initial order rush is starting to slow down? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dealers can charge whatever they want for deposits. The largest Kerbeck has sold out (at least according to their website). Deposits are not the issue an actual allocation is the issue. This car is red hot--but actual orders don't go in until Sept 15th and people will be getting their cars starting about March next year.
There are still 2020 builds out there if you look for them... https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c8-general-discussion/4312557-allocations-available-for-2020-build.html
I,m in line. No legitimate orders are open yet. Possibly Sept 14-15. Torch red,red interior(lt3), z51,magnetic shocks, high wing, downforce pkg,red engine cover, all body accents in body color for a smooth look.
Z06 plus 100hp flat plane and 100 lbs lighter or the ZR1 twin turbo 800hp? If I trade up for a z it will be the latter.
For those ordering a C8, I read on a forum that you do not want to go with an interior combination that gives you a light colored dash, as it reflects a lot. I was considering the dipped natural 3LT until I heard this. No thinking 2 tone 3LT or regular 2LT, which gives you the black dash.
