Yep, THEY'RE BACK!! Swept about 100 of the dead buggers out of the shop that came in the day before and died. "I hate these bastards so much"
From wiki: “Two major flights occur each year; the spring flight occurs during late April and May, and the summer flight occurs during late August and September. Flights extend over periods of four to five weeks. In south Florida, a third (but smaller) flight can occur in December.” Didn’t know we could be in for a holiday season visit too.
I dont ever drive my Fcar. Why would I want to put wear on the tires...or even worse put miles on the car. Actually I put 1600 miles on my CS this weekend going from Pensacola to Homestead and back for the Challenge Races. A little cleaning and it'll all be ok. Drive the damn car guys. -Matt
Driving the cars is not a problem, just hate those love bugs. Took one out yesterday for a 50 mile romp.
Very odd. I just drove back from Orlando and car didn’t have a single one (my daily drive). Earlier this year I would have had 500. Lol. I also haven’t noticed any while running or biking. Maybe I got lucky.
Morning and night is safe but midday when the pavement heats up those little bastards start flying around. Walking out to wash the car now… ugh
FWIW, I have swept out over 500 dead love bugs in the garage every day as I have been working out there with the doors up and they keep coming in. If I have to guess over 5000 of the dead little buggers. What's worse is them landing and crawling on you while you are working. It's just such a creepy feeling. Thank the stars though they don't bite. They are just now starting to taper down. JohnnyRay, I am close to you in Umatilla :-0
Yessir! We are on the NW corner of Lake Eustis. Heading down soon for the winter season. The DB9 is there already. As is a 65 Corvette convert that we just bought locally. Ferrari 550 is booked to ship in the next ten days...and we are bringing a Harley with us. Should be enough motorized entertainment for the season...
I've been seeing a few per day for the past couple of weeks. But it only takes one to blemish your paint if you don't clean it off soon enough.
After weeks of rain or 85 degree weather I finally get a beautiful and seasonable day. Sunny and mid 70s But what do I see after washing the 348? Image Unavailable, Please Login
