Getting lined up at the track.
Salam, Checked and even asked if anyone took more than one. Unfortunately non available. We have some more events coming up as long as the weather holds up. I will try to put one away for you. Mokhless Ramin
Nice 69 charger which was saved from the dead. Posted some pictures of the car being completed earlier. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful 69 Shelby. A personal favorite as both the car is cool and the owner is a true gentleman.. I covered the restoration in an earlier post. The owner Amir Bagheri is President of the Mustang Club of Iran and also owns three 66 Mustangs (coupe, convertible and fastback). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Car number 1, another Maserati, a gorgeous Indy. The guy holding the flag is Hossein Nabavi, one of Iran's best known rally veterans and organizers, with everything from the Peking to Paris Rally to organizing the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) in Shiraz. under his belt. He handled our rally as a personal favor and did a fantastic job (as always). You can see that he is a multi-tasker holding both the flag and speaking on the phone (lol) as the time nears 9.30am. Salam, Count on it. I am putting together the next series of pictures for the rally. Will be back soon. Eradat Ramin
Hi, Here we are on the main highway heading towards Karaj and from there to Chalous Road towards the Caspian. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi everyone, Sorry about not being around for a while. There has been a lot on my plate. Had lots of events since this rally. Will wrap this one up and then move on to some of our newer events. Thanks for your patience. Picking up where we last left off, the rally is at its first stop towards Chalous Road. This road was picked by BMW Roundel as one of the ten best driving roads in the world. We will vouch for that. Best regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
This SM has less than 20,000 km. on the odometer and this rally was its debut after nearly two decades of sleep. After a gentle refurbishing, she finished the rally without a sputter. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, The grandfather of the Iranian automotive industry was the Paykan (Hillman Hunter) manufactured under license by the company Iran National. It later became fully localized and remained in production until 2002. The pick-up version has proven so popular that it is still in production today. These two are Paykan Javanan (Translated means Youth Peykan) which came with twin carbs and other subtle power enhancers. The yellow one you see here however came equipped with a high performance Holbay engine. Today the Paykan enjoys a cult following among enthusiasts and the public alike.
