Well there really isn’t any injury recovery news to discuss, is there? So the thread content will naturally fall more on the career element of the title.
French news services are carrying a story that he has been transferred to Paris for treatment https://www.linternaute.com/sport/auto-moto/1304548-michael-schumacher-quel-traitement-a-paris-le-point-sur-sa-sante/
Just read this in French newspaper "Le Parisien": Michael brought to a French hospital today for a "special treatment" (sorry, didn't have the time yet to translate). http://www.leparisien.fr/faits-divers/michael-schumacher-soigne-a-paris-pour-un-traitement-secret-09-09-2019-8148849.php
https://news.yahoo.com/michael-schumacher-paris-hospital-secret-205221205.html Alleged to be a stem cell transfusion of some sort.

I hope whatever it is, it is successful and gives our champion some hope, if not a full recovery Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission

I saw a chap on the news yesterday that was blinded by an acid attack where they treated him with stem cell tech, he received a new eye essentially, and when they removed the bandage, the guy could see perfectly again.... amazing stuff. I would love to think we might see Michael up and about again.... would be fantastic.
I wish I did - my Italian was no help at all, thank god for google translate! Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
The actual treatment explained quite well and simply (French article). https://www.lepoint.fr/sante/michael-schumacher-hospitalise-a-paris-qu-est-ce-que-la-greffe-de-cellules-cardiaques-10-09-2019-2334639_40.php
The neurppathologist in me tells me that a stem cell transfusion ain't gonna fix what he suffers from. But you never know. Prayers.
There is a rumor raging here this morning - a rumor, FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH - saying that a nurse who saw him yesterday at the hôpital Georges Pompidou said that he is "aware" ("conscient", in french): "une infirmière assure que le champion est bien "conscient"" https://www.midilibre.fr/2019/09/11/michael-schumacher-il-est-dans-mon-service-et-je-peux-tassurer-quil-est-conscient,8406936.php The french newspaper "Le Parisien" seems to have been at the origin of it. I can't vouch what truth there is in this, I can't really determine what it would mean either: "conscient" can mean a lot of different things... Rgds
Beat it champ! Keep fighting Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
The thought of him, even in a wheel chair, but smiling, waving, letting us know he is out of the dark and that he understands everything....that would be a wonderful thing to happen.
I’m more concerned with his state of cognition and communication abilities at this point. Is he like Stephen Hawking, Chris reeves, or worse? But the great lengths of “privacy”that his family strive for strongly suggest he is a shell of a man. Sometimes it would be better to just rip off the bandaid. Still amazing that all those high speed antics in an open car, and a freak skiing accident is what debilitated him.
I would add that he had an helmet...fate , the writings were on the walls that day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes I was surprised to read that recently...he couldn’t have been too reckless...just a freak accident.
