Sorry, sounded blunt. I do realise that buyers of this car do not take value and practicality high on the list ! It’s beautiful to look at, but I feel stuff like parts bin switchgear should be eliminated at this price point. Think Pagani.
The look of the car is unique in the lineup but not my cup of tea. It is interesting that a non-biased opinion of the car is it is much better as a cruiser but in the US its not legal on the road so must have a pretty big driveway!
It was far from damming, not sure what you are on about. A coupe of comments on switchgear that is about it. Would rather see Ferrari produce such beautiful iconic cars than a parts bin compromised design such as the GTS that no one will remember in 10 years like the 575 SA.
The 575 had a transitional single clutch poor gearbox and a roof that was not well resolved and very expensive to repair. Was a flop at launch, but quite a nice little niche now and cheap in V12 cabriolet terms.
Drove the SP2 at Fiorano, it was really exciting and and handled great. Turn in was really impressive and hard acceleration out of the corners allowed a bit of a Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
controllable slide. Coming over the overpass crossover flat created wheel spin at over 100 mph when the car crested the hill. You definitely require a completely closed full face helmet at Fiorano speeds the open helmet and sunglasses didn’t work well. It’s TDF exciting with open air exhilaration, just a blast to push. I must admit it felt strange to be in the wind in an open nostalgic feeling car with such sophisticated, precise handling with enormous power. This car feels fast! Did they show you the assembly area where the Monza is being assembled? Great to hear about your laps at Fiorano!!! Thank you.
So I guess you do not regret the order ...My question is, why is Ferrari doing these sessions? It is the first time I see a limited edition being made available for clients to drive on the track... Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I spoke to some people who were part of the German group of future owners who did their Monza drive on Fiorano a few days ago. Their cars will not be ready until near the end of 2020, so it will be 2021 Spring when they get to drive it properly. So to keep appetites whetted, Ferrari has organised this. and they were all super excited after the drive. This is classic Ferrari, to keep those dreams and anticipation immense until the big day when the car arrives. A very good move by them to do this.
Good to know...I am told mine is end of 2020 as well...not sure why Ferrari have these huge delays Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat

Very interesting to see and this example is titled SP2. So there will likely be an SP1 version of this sculpture to for clients who ordered the other version.
I apologise, I didn’t see this request. See a few posts up, this is the same (SP2). They are approx 10inches and very heavy, a small note accompanied them that they are individually hand made. Also given was a card with an invitation to visit your local Berluti store to be be measured for your shoes.
