I get it, there is something special having and driving a Ferrari, I had 4 in my day, never a regret. That said, if you were offered a new Ford GT, would you say nah, it's just a Ford with a modified truck engine, I'll keep the 458. I doubt it. MB
I'd keep a 458. Ford GT is superb but I would much sooner have the Ferrari. Now when you consider values and such then that decision might change. A Ford GT is worth more than a 458, which would mean the value of the Ford would get me a newer/better 458. I like Ferrari more than I do Ford. I like the 458 more than I do a Ford GT.
The new C8 corvette offers a front end lift for $1500 like ferrari but the corvettes uses GPS to remember up to 1000 locations and will automatically raise the front end .. Seems pretty cool idea amazing in fact I think Ferrari should certainly be concerned maybe they can borrow this technology For the next gen of the mid engine Ferrari
Considering ferrari borrowed chevy's shock technology..it may be a great idea to steal another GM idea..
I can hardly wait to see it in person . Regardless , it's still not a Ferrari or Lambo or McLaren . Not talking snobbery here . I just sayin ....
I can't get my head around the fact the 458 will be a 10 year old car next year..never mind the fact the first of the Ford GT series will be 15 years old..time flys..damn it..
Saw one and sat in it in Phoenix on the 24th. I think it looks great. To me the interior looked excellent (it had the nicest interior). I think the row of switches is pretty clever. I've never sat in any modern Ferrari so I can't compare the two but at some point something is nice enough and having something even nicer really isn't better. Now of course the level of nice that is enough is going to vary from person to person.
Did you all see they are saying the new z06 will be coming with a flat plane crank v8 and the zr1 a flat plane twin turbo.
they already have the twin Turbo engine currently being used in the CT6V and it is built in the bowling green corvette plant should be interesting it is 4.2 litre twin turbo similar to the new AMG engine...
That's what that car will need to be competitive but then it will surely cross the 100k mark pricewise .
There were a lot of corvettes over 100k but where GM had a stroke of genius was offering the C8 at 60k as a low tech base model with very few expensive options available right now. They come out with flat plane crank engines twin turbos or hybrid offerings the price will start climbing quickly.

There is V6 (twin turbo) hybrid Aston Martin coming for $1.2 million. How much the 2021/2022 Aston Martin Vanquish will cost, is anybody’s guess, probably close to the V6 hybrid replacement for the F8.
Rumors are Aston is not doing too well. Sales are down. I love the cars, but they need a redirection. They just dont have anything that stands above the rest. Great cars, but just ont overly good at anything.
